The NFL didnt place the restrictions on celebrations because fans complained. It's because they don't want players studying, practicing the dances and it would ultimately become 'can you top this.'

    Fuck Jeremy Horn.

Wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't a Cowboy doing it. Call me a homer, but I believe that with all my being.

      Emmitt Smith
      Erik Williams
      Michael Irvin
      Roy L Williams
      Marion Barber

Guess the connection. Other than them being Cowboys, of course.

After waiting a good 3-5 seconds to think about it. That doesn't get flagged if it's Moss/Harvin. The AD touchdown later in the game proved it.

Oh that game is still being played, just not in the way you'd think.
It's being played by Vick, Roethlisberger, Farve, Pacman, Braylon Edwards, etc..

I really can't believe Wade Phillips still has a job.

I understand that the rule is lame, but the fact of the matter is that this Cowboys team is so undisciplined, 1-4, and plays like they are 5-0 or don't give a shit. It's all on Phillips' shoulders. Back to back weeks they get celebration penalties, how does Phillips not put an end to that shit after the first time it happens?

I lul'd when Wade said there wouldn't be any changes to the coaching staff. He's probably the one that needs to go :kanyeshrug:

I agree. Instead of hammering home to his team that even though it's a bullshit call, they've still got to curtail the celebrating til they get to the sideline, he just lets them carry on and says it's not their fault.

It took them getting ANOTHER penalty, however stupid it was, for them to get the message. That's total bullshit. They don't even think about doing that under Jimmy or Parcells or some other tough coach.

I half expected Miles and Dez to get a flag for that handshake, though. It was right in front of the same official and he had a smug smirk on his face when they did it.

The team may as well not have any head coach at all.

I was listening to one of the guys on ESPN radio yesterday and he put it best when he said the Dallas Cowboys are like the popular teenagers that stay out way past curfew, get bad grades, skip school, party all night and never get punished by their parents and eventually drop out of school and lose all sense of direction.

I hate that stigma, especially because of the players.

This is a good group of guys. It's not like the 90's where you had a bunch of guys who were full of themselves and out causing trouble (even though they won). The stars of this team are all examples of hard work thoughout their careers from college on up.

The atmosphere of this franchise is most to blame, and like I said in another thread, it's never going to change until Jerry gets Steinbrennered. And I mean that in both senses of the word.

The penalty wasn't on Miles Austin. It was because of Williams and some other dude both held up the Longhorn Hook 'Em sign. Clearly it was planned...

The only thing that makes it funnier is that Sam Hurd never attended Texas. Dumbass.

Bullshit coverup excuse by the league. The official never even looked at Hurd.

The evidence is really piling up.
