LOL @ comment about Sean Jones. It's so true. I fully expect Tanard to take back over and Ahmad Black to take over if/when TJax decides to light up again. I know some see our secondary as a potential weakness, and that can be true as Grimm and Jones are both liabilities in coverage, but Talib is a top 20 CB in the NFL and EJ Biggers showed a lot of potential. Throw in Ronde/Lewis/Mack/Gaitor and we have some feisty young DBs. With some pressure this year we could do great things defensively.

Think you are underrating Talib @ "Top 20", he is top 10 at the very least IMO. I cant name 10 better than him. As for TJax, I hope he gets his shit together. He is eligible for reinstatement after week 2 but I dont expect to see him on the field to after the bye week at the earliest.

Putting Grimes ahead of Talib is laughable... but in my views, Talib takes a few too many risks to be considered top 10 outright. I'd put him in my personal list, but I didn't want to start a Talib debate. My #25 jersey is what I will be wearing at Arrowhead on Friday fo sho.

Look man, fuck these haters on this forum. Talib is better than Grimes (not close), Winfield, Devin McCourtey and Samuel at the least and is just as good, if not better, that Tramond Williams.

                Better than Samuel???
                Hold up, son.
Samuel may not be perfect, but he is a proven INT machine.

As a Philadelphia Eagles' fan, I officially hate the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2002 ... was at the stadium for Black Sunday), I do admire your work in this thread Bucs.

Yes, better than Samuel. Not saying Samuel isnt good but at this point in his career he isnt better than Aqib. Aqib manages 6 picks in 11 games with no DLine. He has 15 toatal since his rookie season with one of the worst pass rush in the league. He can man up, press cover, zone cover and match up with #1's all game. Roddy White know what it is.

I am not saying Aqib isn't a talent, but his body of work does not compare to Assante's.

Of course not, he has only been in the league 3 years. Samuel has had a very good career while Aqib is just starting to open eyes in the NFL.

Samuel has had an elite, all-pro career.

Who's denying it? Aqib is on his way. He would have been a pro bowler last season had he not gotten hurt.

Three years into Samuel's career, he had racked up 124 tackles and 6 INTs. Talib has amassed 127 tackles and 15 INTs in his first three. Hell, Samuel's last three years he has only gotten 5 more picks than Talib, with far less tackles, during his prime. Talib is the truth is Tampa and has all the potential in the world. Let's see where things go, but there is no doubt that Talib is the Buccaneers biggest asset on defense. He shuts bitches down whatever way possible.
