It comes with the star emblem on the helmet though. Much like wearing Yankee pinstripes or Laker purple and gold.

BTW.. it's not like the Cowboys defense is the 2010 Texans either. They were a Top 10 unit last season. Top 10 in 2008. Top 10 in 2007. 13th overall in 2006. Top 10 in 2005. Lots of guys would win more games with that support.
In yardage, maybe. Until last year, they couldn't stop anyone from scoring, especially when they needed to.

I think what they've done this year is a perfect example of yardage allowed meaning jack shit.

Good to see we at least agree about wearing the star, though.

Basically all I'm getting at, is Romo is overrated like every Dallas Cowboy quarterback will be overrated. It's like Derek Jeter, if Jeter played for the Royals.. he'd be a "fine" shortstop you'd hear about twice a week on SportsCenter.

He's very talented, but if Romo played in Houston.. and Schaub played in Dallas.. Schaub would have his balls licked as much as Romo does now.. and Romo would be that perfect Fantasy QB that posted a lot of good stats but never won a meaningful game.

Hell the Cowboys are such a major brand and so focused on by the media.. they tried to hype up Quincy F'n Carter.

Romo has done what he can to put his team in a position to win even with the lack of a running game. poor defense and stupid penalties are more of the problem.

ive said this numerous times. if great quarterback play translates into championships, then the Colts would have won every Super Bowl in the last decade. however look at this.

            2000 - Ravens - great defense
            2001, 2003, 2004 - Patriots - great defense
            2002 - Buccaneers - great defense
            2005, 2008 - Steelers - great defense
2006 - Colts - best their defense ever played in the playoffs
            2007 - Giants - great defense
2009 - Saints - great at forcing turnovers

i rest my case. the Cowboys' misfortune is not because Romo is overrated.
Your right, it's not just cuz he's overrated, it's cuz he's part of the overrated makeup of an overrated team.

Its all about turnovers for the Cowboys D. They cant create any and havent been able to in what seems like forever. Thats the main problem on defense at least.

Overated doesn't = bum. You can be a legit HOF player and still be overated.

Cal Ripken, Emmitt Smith, Wilt Chamberlain. All time greats. Yet overated.

Exactly. Too many people hear overrated and immediately assume it means a guy sucks.

It doesn't. Tony Romo doesn't suck. He's a Top 10 quarterback in this league. But I don't see how anyone can say with a straight face that he's not overrated.

10 QB's threw for 4,000 yards last season. It's a QB's league right now, your grandmother could throw for 4,000 yards in the NFL. Seriously though 6 QB's threw for 4K in '08, 7 in '07, 5 in '06 and 2 in '05.

For what it's worth though I'd rather have Eli on my team than 2/3's of the NFL QB's in this league.
