Is there anybody out there that doesn't think so?

Can somebody please tell me when the last time a team ranked #1 in total offense and #2 in total defense that had a losing record?

Has it ever happened before?

Obviously, special teams are the issue. The Chargers are notoriously slow starters and SPT is an issue that can easily be corrected. I know, I know, "But they haven't corrected it yet!" Well, they will. And they'll win at least 5 of their next 7 games.

VS. Denver - Win
@ Indy - Win (possible L)
Vs. Oakland - Win (possible L)
Vs. KC - Win.
VS. SF - Win.
@ Cincy - Win.
@ Denver - Win.

I honestly think they can win all 7 but @ Indy is a toss up and Oakland will be a tough game.

Not to mention they get Vincent Jackson back next week.

Obviously, I'm hoping this isn't true because I'd love to see Oakland win the division but there's just no way I see it happening. The Chargers are going to do this shit again.

I think they can do it. Chiefs are doing too well, and the Raiders aren't going to hold off the Chargers. If they can fix special teams, I think the Chargers could make a deep playoff run.

I don't get your sarcasm then. Did you expect me to come in and say he wouldn't have any rust and would tear things up from snap one?

And if you want to go back to how good/bad Moss is, look at his production this season. Sure he'll help out a running game, but top ten receivers don't get shut down week in and week out the way Moss has regardless of how the coverage is shifted to his side. Top ten receivers also don't play for three teams in five weeks. It far more ridiculous to say Moss is top ten than it was to say Jackson was however long ago that thread was.

I honestly don't think they will. They've dug a big enough hole as it is and with Oakland getting hot... i don't know whats gonna happen. Statistically they aren't out of it but the magic they had late last year might not show up again. But the talent they have on that team is amazing and hell i could be wrong and they could go on a tear and win the division but a lot of things have to happen.

The Chargers are only 1 game behind the Raiders. With VJ, Floyd, and Gates all coming back soon it does have me a bit worried. I have a feeling they will go on another run. The Raiders have won 4 of their last 5 though so they're already hot.
