KC are a better team than people are giving them credit for. I wouldn't wanna go into Arrowhead in week 1
The Chargers will win the AFC West

Whoa whoa whoa. KC is undefeated at home and will be a tough team to knock off. I don't know how you can just say that like it's absolutely going to happen.
The Jets look like a probable round 1 match-up. Mark Sanchez coming to Arrowhead...in the playoffs? Even if I wasn't a homer, I'd still think the Chiefs would be a good pick in that game.
They're a legit division winner.
But even you, a Chiefs fan, can hardly be over-confident regardless of the team you face.My Twitch video link: http://www.twitch.tv/dave374000

who said he is over confident? you just shouldnt write them off. i'd put money on them winning their first game at home regardless who they playComment

But, let's be honest, this is K.C.'s rebuild by surprise year. They are not elite by any stretch.
They need for everything to go right to get past round 1.My Twitch video link: http://www.twitch.tv/dave374000

They don't need everything to go right. The Chiefs are a balanced team with talent on both sides of the ball and excellent coaching.
You are underestimating them far more than I am overrating them.Comment

That's what Cinci fans said last year, oh and that's also what San Diego fans said last year. I'm not bashing the Chiefs, I think they need to be taken for real and they will. They have a great team and deservedly so is hosting a playoff game. Just don't think any match-up round one is going to be easy.
I'm not saying the match-up is easy. It's just the least difficult in my opinion.
Sanchez is the 28th highest rated QB in the league. The Chiefs' defense gives up barely over 12 points a game at home, which makes them the toughest team to score on in the league when they're at Arrowhead. That's obviously a good match-up for the Chiefs.Comment

Even the Jets' own players realize it's a tough game in KC.
Kansas City can clinch the No. 3 seed with a victory over the Raiders (7-8) or if the Colts (9-6) fall at home to the Titans (6-9). Even if Indianapolis loses, it still can win the AFC South if the Jaguars (8-7) lose to Houston (5-10). The Chiefs would drop to the fourth seed if they lose and the Colts win, setting the Jets up with another matchup against Super Bowl XLI MVP Peyton Manning.
But if you ask defensive end Trevor Pryce, he thinks quarterback Matt Cassel and the Chiefs are a tougher matchup at Arrowhead Stadium than squaring off against Manning at Lucas Oil Stadium, where the Jets were eliminated in last year's AFC Championship Game.
"Peyton Manning, he's as good as there is," Pryce said on 1050 ESPN's "MacDonald and Tierney Show" Tuesday. "He's the best there ever was, him or Tom Brady. And when he starts losing receivers like Austin Collie and tight end Dallas Clark, who is all-world, he's replacing them. But you can only replace them so much.
"The Chiefs don't have that problem. And playing in Kansas City , I can tell you from firsthand experience, it's much tougher playing in Kansas City than playing in Indianapolis."
We'll see how it all shakes out soon enough.Comment
