imo this ends the drama, favre should be benched this week and the organization can see if jackson's learned anything from holding a clipboard the past couple years. i have a feeling he'll be back next year while they groom a young guy to take over, that or try and make another acquisition in FA.

Haha. Remember when VSN thought the Vikings were the favorites in the NFC because they got Randy Moss?

Wasn't that right before VSN thought that the Titans were the AFC favorite because they got Randy Moss?

No, it was closer to the time that you and everyone else thought Favre still had something in the tank, other than 17 interceptions of course.

I'd be surprised if Favre accepted a role as a backup, as he's never been the type of guy that cared about the greater organizational needs. I'd also be surprised if Frazier benched him.

Wasn't that right after VSN, and the rest of the NFL, thought the Patriots were no longer the AFC favorite after they got rid of Randy Moss?

Yeah, but that was the night after everyone still believed Moss was an elite WR. He's fooled a lot of people into still believing that.

Obviously Moss isn't the same WR that he once was, but he still gets doubled more than any WR I've seen this season. It's seriously crazy how often teams still put 2 guys on him.

I think it was around the time all of Philadelphia and VSN was calling for Andy Reid's head for starting Michael Vick over Kolb.
