Frankly, if your one of those that believes Cam Newton had no knowledge whatsoever of his father soliciting funds, than you are pretty damn naiive. That said, Cam Newton was the best player in CFB this year, no doubt, and deserves the trophy.

No, the award is about them, they vote on it. And they can vote for whoever they want. And since integrity is part of the criteria, it's perfectly reasonable to not vote for Newton. Or Peter Warrick. Or whoever else.

Who cares how is NFL career turns out. There's been several Heisman winners who end up flaming out in the NFL for whatever reason. If it happens,he won't be the first and he won't be the last. Heisman is a college award.

Can we stop perpetuating this myth here? Seriously? The investigation is STILL OPEN. I repeat, since I've had to post this like 10 times in the last week ... Newton's investigation is not yet concluded by the NCAA.

Not to mention the ongoing FBI investigation into Auburn athletics. His name wasn't cleared, the NCAA chose not to punish him yet based on the limited evidence they have gathered.
