Beaver Stadium. I've been to plenty of games, but the first "white-out" game against Ohio State in '05 easily had the best atmosphere of any other game. I've never heard a stadium get so loud when Tamba Hali forced that fumble on Troy Smith near the end of the game.
Death Valley in Clemson is alright too, but it doesn't compare to Beaver.

I've been to a few games.
One was at the old Giants stadium but I was too young to remember it exactly.
I have been to dolphins stadium and Chad Ochocino was sitting three rows in front of me. The crowd was alright and the tailgating was decent.
I went to the NYG @ TB playoff game. The tailgating was retarded. The game was a 1 oclock start and we showed up at 11. We were nervous we wouldn't be able to get a good spot. It was a good thing the TB and Florida fans in general didn't start showing up till 12.
My best experience would probably be when I went to the Florida/Oklahoma BCS championship game. It was in Miami so there were a ton of Florida fans. I was sitting right behind the Florida student section and it was nuts. The tailgating before hand was great. There were people in campers, tons of food, hot girls in little clothing. It was great.Comment

Only been the Georgia Dome and the Super Dome on the pro level. Super Dome is fucking old and shitty on the inside, and the seats are really far from the field, but the loudness makes up for it. The GA Dome, while I love it, was a bit too sterile and impersonal but with the recent improvements (red seats instead of teal, renovated corridors, etc.) it feels a bit more like a "stadium".
As for college, I've been to games at:
Bobby Dodd Stadium (Ga. Tech)
Jordan-Hare Stadium (Auburn)
Samford Stadium (Georgia)
Ben Hill Griffin Stadium (Florida)
Lane Stadium (Virginia Tech)
and of course, my beloved Tiger Stadium.
I've also snuck unto the field, camped at, or had a tour of:
The Horseshoe at Ohio State (cool, obviously)
Navy Stadium (?) (kind of rinky, dink, but that's to be expected)
Kenan Stadium (UNC) (gorgeous)
and whatever the hell Vanderbilt's is called (Memorial? Either way it's just a lifeless pile of concrete.)
Obviously my pick would be Death Valley, but taking my personal bias aside, I have to give credit where it is due to Auburn's Jordan-Hare, that place gets fucking loud to "only" seat 85k. Narrowly edging out Jodan-Hare though would be the Swamp. Such a neatly constructed stadium. The sharp angles and the huge walls in the corners make the noise bounce back to the field. Shit is fucking insanely loud.
Slight points deducted because Florida fans suck at clapping in unison (seriously, they are all off the beat by the second clap), but it's still an awesome scene.
Leading up to the game, LSU's tailgating scene shits on both, but once the game starts, Auburn and Florida have incredible venues. Honorable mention to UGA, because their tailgating is on par with LSU's and the stadium is literally carved into the ground in the middle of campus. You are walking through the quad and then bam, you're face to face with the scoreboard.... You look down and there is a football field 100 feet below you, with nothing but bleachers in between. It's pretty damn cool, I must admit.
My goal is to hit every SEC venue one day, plus a few others like Autzen at Oregon and Kyle Field at A&M. No real need for me to see that many NFL venues (other than Lambeau which would be life-changing) because I feel the pro game is better taken in on television, with the opposite being true of college games.Comment

Been to...Pros...
Old Meadowlands
Lambau
Old Soldier
New Soldier
College
Camp Randall
Kinnick
Giants stadium was ok, Lambau numerous times was cool. But im biased, and the new Soldier field is amazing to me. Ugly as fuck it may be. But its built to make sure everyone can see. And no matter where you sit its a great view. Not to mention ive seen at least 5 soccer games there too.Comment

Gillette Stadium is a great place to see a game IMO, although I've never been to any other NFL Stadium's. I have been to Neyland Stadium for a UT-TexTech game back in 97, amazing how many people that place holds, I believe the attendance was around 110,000. I remember being in the last row of the stadium, and walking up the stairs was like walking up a ladder. Still Great seats though, felt like you right on top of the field.Comment

I've been to Ford Field and the Silverdome for the pros. And The Big House, Spartan Stadium and the legendary Kelly-Shorts Stadium in college.
I'd definitely recommend checking out a game at Michigan Stadium if you can, it's a lot of fun.Originally posted by mgoblue2290If you want to win, put Drew in.Comment

Michigan Stadium is a great place to see a game, but in the Big Ten, it is hard to beat the atmosphere at Camp Randall. But none can beat Notre Dame Stadium. Also, Ford Field is exceptional, as is Lucas Oil. Haven't been to too many different stadiums but those are just a few worth mentioning.Comment

Lambeau Field. No bad seats in the entire stadium. It's an amazing experience.

I don't think there are words. It was a mix of passion, hate, and fear. It was not a place that gave anyone warm and funny feelings.Comment

I say go to the older stadiums with the MOST tradition. Stadiums that have had historic teams and coaches. Ones that contain other venues, like a team HOF. Get to these stadiums before they are replaced. That way, when they have been demolished and replaced, you can say that you've actually been there.Comment
