No matter how sorry McNabb has been he is still better than Grossman and Beck. This shit is sad. As a Redskins hater I must say that I cant believe this shit. Things wont get better for these bums under Shanahan.

they dont use Cooley anymore, Moss is their only WR and they are on their 4th RB of the year WITH another make shift OL.
Cooley has pretty good numbers this year. They are being overshadowed by all the losing.

Shanahan is doing this to deflect blame from his shitty coaching job.
He can blame his year 1 woes on McNabb and try again next year.

Hey, Mcnabb has an 88 million dollar contract, if they want him to sit on the bench and be third string he should be happy and do whatever the coaches tell him to!

It's actually $78M ... and it's one of those fake deals.
The Redskins can walk away from it for only $3.75M at the end of this season - which they certainly will do.

all im saying is, all the criticism that Shanny is receiving in this thread for the way he treats his players is just as valid as it applies to Mcnabb as it does to Haynesworth.

I cannot believe this happened to the same organization that handled the whole Albert Haynesworth situation so well.

hows that? when I levied criticism against the Redskins for the way they handled Haynesworth, everyone just directed blame at Albert and refused to acknowledge any kind of responsibility on the part of the Redskins for how it played out. Now, Shanahan is scapegoating another player, and NOW the criticism goes his way.

J Hight and I were the only guys on this forum that had this clusterfuck pegged for what it was from the get-go.

Don't get me wrong. I am not defending Haynesworth. but the Redskins, with him, like with McNabb, could not have handled the situation any poorer, and now that the piss poor coaching and management is being directed at the quarterback, everyone is realizing it, when the piss poor coaching and management have been evident the whole time since the new regime came to town.

The Haynesworth situation was 100% Alberts fault case closed. He was an unprofessional piece of shit. See what happens when you walk into work and telll everyone Im not talking to boss anymore and Im not working between 8-11 and 1-5 and see what happens.

This I as well as many fell is Kyles doing and daddy is covering for him again like he did back in the Detriot game. Kyle is the one that should be fired through all this he is calling the plays. They didnt even utilize Cooley this season.

Im not going to say McNabb is anywhere near what he was, but he gives them the best chance to win. He had a make shift line again on his 4th running back and a bunch WR that would be 3rd and 4th WR on other teams.

Both Kyle and Hasslet should be fired. I hope and heard Wade Phillips may come to town this offseason. The Redskins dont have the players yet for a 3-4Def adn a father and son should never work togehter, YOU NEVER HIRE SOMEONE YOU CANT FIRE. This is only gonna get uglier two years down the road.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather have Mike Shanahan than Donovan McNabb & Albert Haynesworth.

Some of you are acting as if the Redskins were a well oiled playoff contender before Shanahan got the job. McNabb hasn't worked out, and if you recall, wasnt really the first choice to bring in anyway. This is being made a bigger deal than it really is. Clearly you arent going anywhere in 2010 with McNabb.
