# As Dolphins figure out their plans, the Broncos are attempting to set up an interview with Jim Harbaugh to get their chance at Stanford HC. less than 5 seconds ago via web
# Not to mention that the Dolphins have a head coach in place. 3 minutes ago via web
# Miami has not reported any minority interviews to NFL; Dolphins not in compliance with Rooney Rule and can't offer deal to Jim Harbaugh. 3 minutes ago via web
watch for this to be announced tomorrow or Sat after the Rooney Rule shit is covered and accepted by the league.
Harbaugh will be one of the highest paid coaches, somewhere north of 6.5 million, south of 7.5 million per year. Only $8 million if they really need to in order to make him sign the contract.
P.S. I was bored today at work and made all of this up......it did help to pass time and get you guys riled up though, kinda like when I insisted to Senser way back in the day that Sam Madison had only given up 3 TDs in 3 years (or was it 2, I can't remember, long time ago). The more EmpireWF got fired up....the more I simply could not stop the party.
Unless I hear Hugh Jackson suddenly being interviewed by Miami, I'd buckle up for Sparano.
Stephen Ross should have given Cowher what he wanted, which was EVERYONE gets fired + the cash.
Now, they'll overpay for Harbaugh, who, I LOVE as a coach, but damn, you are gonna make him the highest paid coach in the league and he ain't done anything in it yet. Seems silly.
According to the San Jose Mercury News' Tim Kawakami, Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh "isn't sold" on the situation in Miami with the Dolphins.
"Money talks, but Harbaugh's looking for reasons to look elsewhere," says Kawakami. It looks like Harbaugh is slipping away from Dolphins owner Stephen Ross. NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora suggests Harbaugh's decision could still come down to Standford and the 49ers, allowing him to stay in the Bay Area. Per LaCanfora, Stanford's offer was actually higher the Niners with bonuses included. At this point, the Dolphins, 49ers, Broncos, and Standford remain in the hunt.
Jim Harbaugh could still go anywhere... lol at this thread.
