All the more reason to have a playoff. The huge layoff between games is ridiculous, and both teams took virtually the entire 1st period to get untracked.

As for this run, I'd rank it as the 1,082nd best college football play I've ever seen....

#1,081 - Rashard Casey's TD pass for Penn State against Illinois
    #1,082 - Michael Dyer 37-yard run
    #1,083 - Ricky Foggie's 48-yard TD run against Michigan

A low scoring game doesn't mean defensive either. Like others have said it was a sloppy game and probably the worst showing by both teams all year.

Looking at the replays of this it sort of looks like his wrist touched the ground. I'm pretty sure the Arkansas TE was ruled down because his wrist touched against OSU, but whatever.

Game wasn't that great, Heisman winner and another Heisman contender neither performed well.

Yes he was. I just heard a few great comments on this run.

What is considered down. (Arkansas player was ruled down)

Why didnt a Oregon defender just bury him as he bodied surfed? (probably would have gotten called for an unsportsman-my opinion there)

What would the turnout have been if he was ruled down right there.

It was a "cool" play that he wasnt down but you cant even give him credit for a "heads up" play. He thought he was down.

it was really a forgettable run... nothing really special in that everyone on the field (including himself) thought he was down. it was more of those fluke-ish plays at best, although it did pretty much seal the deal

You don't have to score to have a great play.

It was a great a play in a big time game, it was the right call, for a football fan I just think its ashame that the title came down to a play that had to be reviewed and everyone thought he was down including the running back himself.

But I still think it was really good game, some low points but the final 5 minutes were great, I think the pace in the fast half with some big plays were good. A little rust after 37 day layoff.
