You don't know much about Jets history do you?

The Jets are the perennial team that gets close then loses it team.

        BB smoking that good piff.

Sanchez put this team back in the game. He was brilliant and has continued to play his best when the first stupid 15 playcalls are done. He's being held back by schottenheimer. There was one play where Rex is like hurry up, Sanchez is like hurry up and you have the assistant next to BS shouting and you see BS fumbling with his play chart. Ugh.

There's just no rhythm to his calls. And we don't take advantage of the offensive talent we had this year.

This kid has IT. After that fumble, he got right back in there and kicked ass. You can have mr regular season Freeman, or 4 game a season stafford, I'm taking the Sanchize.

Sanchez gets a bad rep from most people on here because of the NY bias making him seem better than he is, and I don't really like the guy either, but besides the Colts game he played great during the playoffs. No one should make him out to be the scapegoat.

He's not a top 10 QB by any means yet, but if he can continue and build from this, he'll find himself in that category very soon.

He's held composure throughout most of the playoffs while playing on the road in all three games. For being a "bum" he plays pretty good on the road.

That 1st half was awful, the second half he was better. But he will still be nothign more than an average QB in the league. Drafted far to high. He was put into the best situation possible and still manages to look ok at best. You play enough games in that offense you will look good every once in a while but for him to put up the shitty numbers he did this year is terrible.

Yo you smoking that shit if you think that he has "it". Freeman to Sanchez is no comparison and this isnt any homer talk right here man this is being as serious as I can be. Freeman has done so much more with far less. Dont act is if Sanchez was the reason you all won those games. It was all defense and a run game while Sanchez managed not to throw it away. Bradford will surpass him next season if not already.

Freeman wins games on his own. His chances at the playoffs will come soon, very soon. Our team as a whole isnt anywhere near the Jets but Freeman is hands down a better QB than Mark Sanchez. If you cant see that then you are either blind, dumb or a dumb/blind Jets Fan. Half our team is rookies and second years players. If Sanchez was our QB you fuckers wouldnt have heard anything from me this season. It would have been another sub .500 year and we would probably be in the market for a new head coach.

If you don't think Sanchez is good then why the fuck did you wait until AFTER his team got bounced from the AFC Championship game to make a call out thread? Would your opinion of him changed if they had won? (My guess is it wouldn't). He played the fucking best defense in the NFL last night, of course he isn't going to look all world. Now I don't think he is an elite QB but winning 4 playoff games on the road is impressive. As is beating the Patriots AND Colts on the road in one year.

Freeman didn't even go over 300 yards ONE TIME this season. He had seven games where he threw for LESS THAN 200 yards. That doesn't exactly scream elite QB to me. He is as much of a game manager as Sanchez is.

I think this thread would have been warranted many times this season, but not after the game he had last night. While I don't see Sanchez as a top 10 QB, I think he has enough to build on from his performance the last 6-7 weeks to make a push into that group next year. He showed me a lot last night, and I am far from a "Sanchez" supporter.

Sanchez's performance on the road in the postseason against the NFL's #1 defense is equivalent to Josh Freeman's performance at home in the regular season against the Carolina Panthers.

I think Sanchez is often times more lucky than good, but Freeman isn't even in the same conversation. Compare Freeman to Matt Cassell and David Garrard (and Jay Cutler).

Speak on what you know. Ive said he was overrated since he was drafted and the "callout" thread was made during the 1st half for what its worth.

As for Freeman not throwing for over 300, big deal. He was the reason we won 10 games. His overall body of work trumps passing for 300 yards a few times during the season. Around 3500 yards, 26 TDs, 6 picks and a 96 QB rating is far, far better than what Sanchez did considering what he has. Game manager? Stick to crying about the Cowboys. The Bucs win because of, not in spite of Freeman.

Cant believe anyone would even try argue this. Lets act like football isnt a team sport and Sanchez was the reason they are in the position he was in. If Free's numbers dont scream elite WTF does 3200 yards, 17 TD's, 13 picks and a QB rating of 75 "scream" for a QB as protected as he is? The numbers dont lie.

                            You're an idiot.

Mark Sanchez had a QB rating over 100 against the NFL's best defense and AFC champion.

Against what teams did Josh Freeman have a good game? @ Carolina, @ Arizona, Carolina, @ San Francisco, @ Washington, Seattle, @ New Orleans. I didn't watch the New Orleans game but it was week 17, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were resting players, and we saw how good their defense was the next week. The rest of those teams suck ass, especially their defenses.

Freeman's numbers are all smoke and mirrors, he sucked ass against every good team he played.

Body of work > 1 game. Sanchez is pedestrian. Again, considering all his weapons, he should look a lot better than he does.

You call me an idiot (really?....GoblinSlayer??) but go onto to say Freeman's numbers are all smoke and mirrors and running off our schedule as if they arent NFL teams. Ive heard this shit all year. He hasnt sucked in any game this season. Not even in blowout losses to the Saints or Steelers. He is a second year QB that played behind a line playing musical chairs all season, with nothing but rookies and 2nd year players at WR along with a rookie starting at RB. It really is comical how everyone here is trying to paint me out to be the dickhead.

Sanchez not fucking with Freeman period. You put him in that situation he would fold no matter the schedule.
