Like I said in the original post, I hate the timing of this. Fisher pretty much quit after he had to get rid of his boy, Chuck Cecil, who is absolutely horrible. This made us miss two of the guys I wanted the most in Jim Harbaugh and Ron Rivera.

Gregg Williams has to be a favorite along with Munch. There's a few other guys I wouldn't mind.

Just make Mike Munchak the coach and get it over with. Im sure Bud just didnt want to pay Fish 6 Mill in a lockout year so he saved almost 20 million by getting rid of him and not having to play VY that 12 Mil in March.

Liking the move big time, if you guys can literally start from scratch but keep Johnson/Britt you guys should move on up.

Plus, Kenny went to RU, hard not to root for him to do good.

The thing is, it's not a complete rebuilding job like some other teams. We both mentioned CJ and Britt, but Damian Williams can step in and be a nice #2 guy. Ahmard Hall is a good blocking FB. We have two nice offensive tackles in Michael Roos and David Stewart. Derrick Morgan was a first-rounder at DE. Jason Jones is an extremely dominant force when healthy. Alterraun Verner was the third best rookie corner this season and only gave up one touchdown. Cortland Finnegan can still be Cortland of old. Jason McCourty is better than most 3rd corners. And Michael Griffin looked like the '08 All-Pro version for the first part of the season.

There's definitely a lot of talent on this team still. We're still missing a QB and a playmaking LB, but if we can acquire those, then the new coach won't have a tough time having success with this team.
