Not sure what that has to do with this season.

everything. This season will be no different. And if they dont it will be the Celtics or Heat. Its not like there will be any surprises.

Oh so it will be one of three teams spread across both conferences? Glad you have it narrowed down, Ms. Cleo. You might want to check the standings, though, because the Lakers are currently the 3rd best team in the West, and only 2 games ahead of the 4th best team.

3 teams that are fully expected to be in the mix.
The Lakers dont need a high seed to be a threat come playoff time.

The NFL season ended Week 17 when the Rams were eliminated. Once the Rams are done playing, my passion for the league drops about 90%.

College hoops has my full attention from November to March, so i'm never bored because its on every night.

MMA is all year long, always a ton of fights to watch, just about every weekend these days.

Baseball is just around the corner, I can watch any baseball game and be entertained. Throw in a fantasy league or two, and every game is relevent. I haven't been this excited about baseball in a long time. The older I get, the more I appreciate baseball, and the less I care about some other sports (namely the NBA, which I really want to like, but end up liking less and less each year).

North you know there's not point in attempting to defend the NBA on this site. I gave up a long time ago.

                        no,no, I appreciate basketball.

but in the end as a team sport its kind of a Joke when the same 3 or 4 teams keep rotating championships.

Like I said, come late May in LA, you just yawn and say " so, who do the Lakers play next ? " haha

I said it was compelling and that the regular season has been very fun to watch.

Setting aside that you're telling me I said something that I never said, how does agreeing that three really good teams will be "in the mix" contradict my original point that this season has been compelling? In addition to those three teams, Chicago, Dallas, Oklahoma City (aka the team that gave LA all they could handle last offseason) and San Antonio (aka the team that has beaten the Lakers twice and off to the best start of any team since the '96 Bulls) will be "in the mix" as well.
