i forgot about him being injured... besides, my lasting impression of him are his fumbling games away... he is slow and fumble prone, not exactly a ripe specimen for an NFL RB...

I never really thought of him as slow, but he does have fumbling problems at times. It is not as if that can't be fixed. I'm not saying he is a first round pick, but at the least he is a third round pick. Which I'm basing what I saw of him when he was healthy during his Freshman year. He was a tough, powerful runner with a nice burst. He could make people miss and also was good on his cuts.

whenever he face a decent defense, he shit himself...

40 yds and 2 YPC against boise
8 yds and 1.3 YPC against ECU
10 yds and 1.7 against Duke
24 yds and 3.7 against UVA
4 yds and 1 YPC against stanford

he will be just like every other VT skill player in the NFL... a bum...

Why is Ryan Williams invited and Mikeal Leshoure of Illinois isn't? I have yet to see a draft ranking that has Williams over Leshoure.

Boise is the only one where he got a significant amount of carries. All the other games he averaged 5-6 carries that game which is nowhere near enough to get yourself going. Along with him being injured basically all season and splitting carries with two other backs. As I said I'm going off of his Freshman season, when he as healthy majority of the time and was the feature back.

Alabama- 2 touchdowns, 71 yards, 5.5 yards per carry

Nebraska- 107 yards, Touchdown, 5.1 yards per carry

Miami- 150 yards, 2 Touchdowns, 4.4 yards per carry

Georgia Tech- 100 yards, Touchdown, 7.1 yards per carry

Boston College- 159 yards, 8.8 yards per carry, Touchdown

I'm not saying he is going to for sure be a great player, but no one in the third round is. If you didn't have negatives or concerns you wouldn't be getting drafted in the third round. I've liked what I seen from him when healthy and think he is definitely worth a third round pick.

Maybe Leshoure declined or NFL found out more teams were higher on Williams (Kaepernick or however you spell it was supposedly invited because he was the #1 QB on one teams board, which he obviously declined), who knows.

Remember, the draft is now 3 days. First round and then on Friday you have the second and third round where teams will have special pick announcers for the second round.

Having players there for the second and third round is what they want.

Plus, its a fuck you to the PA.

I'm not too high on that kid myself. Just don't see it. VT runners are really overrated as draft prospects.

Plus, none of the runners really standout to me this year...
