      Jameis Winston

Jameis Winston, 5 star high school QB from Alabama, is scheduled to make his announcement for his school of choice at 4:30PM today on ESPNU CFB Blitz. This battle should come down to Florida State and Alabama.
Jimbo Fisher seems to be writing "How to have the top recruiting class in America despite taking less than 25 commitments for dummies." Today's chapter is QB Jameis Winston of Alabama (top dual threat QB in America) will decide today between FSU, Alabama, and LSU. We expect FSU. (announcement at 3PM).

            Jameis Winston
            Ht: 6'3" | Wt: 190 lbs
            24/7 #1 Dual-Threat Quarterback
            Scout #2 Quarterback
            Rivals #1 Dual-Threat Quarterback
            ESPN #1 Quarterback
            High School: Hueytown (Bessemer, AL)

Jameis has very few flaws to his game. He's rated the best dual-threat quarterback in the nation. He passed for over 2300 yards and rushed for another 800 in his 13 game junior season. He only threw three interceptions on the year. His arm strength is good, his running ability is tremendous, and his leadership is one of the most impressive things about his game. During the summer, he was paired up and was buddy-buddy with what could be his future mentor EJ Manuel at the Elite 11 QB camp. His accuracy might be his one downfall. Still, he was the best QB at the Elite 11 camp, and Jimbo Fisher is getting a good one.
The only downside to Winston is the potential that he could play pro baseball. He has the potential to be drafted high and stiff the college team he signs with, e.g. Joe Mauer. He could also play baseball in the spring, and football in the fall. Nick Saban is against his QBs playing any other sport, this probably helped lead Winston to pick Florida State. Nonetheless, this is a great signing for Florida State, and the highest rated QB signing for FSU since 2004 with Xavier Lee (hope I didn't just jinx it).

I tend to agree with this statement since I haven't really read much about him and his skills in each sport. Like the second quote 1st sentence says, Joe Mauer...

It will come down to the money or which sport he loves the most if it is football

I agree with you both. I'm not that excited that he'll ever touch the field for the Noles. I hope they are looking at another QB since they wanted to take 2 this year.

Well we received a commitment from Mcguire a 4star from around North East, I can't remember everything but we do have another QB commitment. Plus they have Jacob Coker from this past years class

I know but I read that Fisher wanted to take 2 QB's this year. Supposedly Secord will transfer so 2 QB's might be needed. I thought Mcguire was a 3*? Not that stars even matter cause Coker was a 3 star and I think he will be a player.

The Florida Gators landed D.J. Humphries, the nation's top offensive tackle and No. 7 prospect, and Alabama landed Chris Black, the nation's No. 3 receiver and No. 29 prospect, on Friday.

Expect current 'Canes commit AJ Leggett to change his commitment to FSU.

This kinda sucks. UF isn't gonna be "down" for long if Miami is no longer challenging for these recruits for a while. FSU is just gonna get ridiculous as well. If I had to place a bet, the 'Noles will be the team to snap the SEC national title streak.
