    Will Mahone=awesome

-- Apparently, Notre Dame running back commit William Mahone of Austintown, Ohio, likes the new-look Irish shiny, gold helmets. He died his black hair gold on Thursday.

Basically the bolded comments from above happened.

Some players allegedly took offense to them.

Let's play cupcakes every week. Thankfully we do for 3 more weeks.

And I think it is time for me to apologize to Jonas Gray for all the insults I have thrown his way for years. He is a very good RB and I hope gets a chance in the NFL because he has the athletic ability.

Crist isn't so lucky and I will continue to associate Crist with disappointment. Despite Mike Mayock praising him like he was Jesus.

Dayne Crist still has so much damn talent it's so tantalizing to still want him to be the QB when you see how limited Rees is physically.

Love the crowd cheering for the one time they played Crazy Train. New cult status song at ND. Ha!

Dayne Crist is out my dog house.

I want to see him play. Rees is too limited. Damn it Dayne!

I guess more and more people are picking up on a rumor/unsubstantiated report that next season ND will be installing a hybrid playing surface. Pretty much what the Packers and Eagles play on.

Using the video board like Michigan does or the way Yankee stadium did for the game last year would be fine with me. Put it on the South End of the Stadium where there is nothing to block anyways and roll with it.
You could use it to show videos on ND history, tradition, etc.

The new playing surface, as long as it's the hybrid one, would be great. I hate the way Field Turf(the fully synthetic stuff) looks in the late fall. Just doesn't look right to me.

4* LB/S David Perkins decommitted from Notre Dame.

Local kid who got invited to camp there and ND offered him and he accepted right away.

Once ND offered the kid he skyrocketed up everyones lists. Went from an unknown to having offers from Big 10, Big East, and SEC schools. Now that ND is in the middle of the midseason turmoil, which seems like it happens far too often, he is now looking at other schools.

And put me on the Hendrix wagon for QB of ND. I'd rather see a drunk Jayrock be QB over Crist at this point.

Hendrix isn't a very good passer....Strong arm, yeah but accuracy may no tbe great and he didn't throw the ball a lot in HS so his understanding of the passing game from that perspective is really raw.

I'd rather see Crist than Hendrix starting(if it EVER came down to it)
