"Monsters and Money in the Morning" with Dan Jiggets LOL. North was investigated by the SEC for some shady financial dealings. Perfect guy to be handing out financial advice.

      Yup, same page.

Since you mentioned Chris Russo, does anyone listen to him (Mad Dog) on Sirius? I've caught him once or twice since he left and just curious how he is doing.. Really hope him and mike hook up again.

All I listen to are Scotty Ferrall (on Stern 101) and occasionally Mad Dog Russo... both on Sirius. Scott's show is by far the best sports show, IMO. He has great guests and you learn a bunch, but it's a Stern kinda show. Callers will call in saying "Scottty what's up you fag, give me a bong rip" and they'll play a bong ripping sound. They also play music behind, which makes the show go by so fast, especially when the show slows down.

I may also be biased for Scott since he went to IU. Maybe.

I agree you can tell Boers has just given up. I still like Bernstein most of the time. When he does shows with Goff, Goff tends to keep him in checka bit more and will challenge him on some things. Same with Matty.

Mully and Hanley are "meh" at best.

I agree with Senser though, for being such a great sports town the sports talk in Chicago is awful. For God sakes, Mike North and Mike Murphy used to occupy the first 8 hours of the day.
Who is the guy from 670 that comes on B&B to give Chicago Bears updates? That guy is a complete moron. He is like Tim McCarver...it takes him forever to get to his point, and his point is always something like "I talked to Lovie Smith, and he was concerned with the pass protection in that Giants game". I can't tell if B&B are making fun of the guy when he comes on...where do they find these people?

Can't stand his voice. He's a very passionate fan though.

Yeah I disliked his show the first few times because of his voice. When I learned he was an IU alum, I gave it another try and loved it. He also has some great stories with some athletes and they'll tell them together. He actually goes out and parties or goes to fights with many of his athlete friends. He talks about some NHLers like they're his good friends. I think I remember a good story with him and Ryan Clowe. He's also good friends with all of the MMA fighters.

Instead of pure analysis like most shows, he gives his listeners the opportunity to see what an athlete's life is really like. He also openly talks about his occasional cocaine use and personal life. Very much like the Stern show.

                  Him. Holmes gives updates too.

Zaidman has the more monotone voice and does the DePaul basketball play by play.

He's alright on his own. I don't see him and Francesa ever reuniting fully...maybe a guest hit here or there in the future.

I think the time apart will bring them together. No homo.

Sirius is dying and Fatcesa hates talking for 6 hours by himself. Plus his "numbahs" are slipping little by little. When they reunite at big events it does monster numbers.

I listen to Francesa on YES, it makes me feel a little less homesick. Sometimes I go online for some Joe Benigno, too.

When I first really got into WFAN, it was some of the final days I think of when Beningno was in the overnight. Awesome shows.

He's still good whenever I get the chance to catch him in the daytime, but not quite as good as he was in the past.

Whoever runs kars 4 kids must have a huge roll on the WFAN staff. They have been advertised for so many years and so often.

Also, growing up since I was a little kid and been going to Giant's games, I've listened to the NFL Sunday Mornings with Francesa religiously. Nothing beats that feeling of driving on the turnpike on the way to a game listening to that program and the Phil Simms weekly call.

Usually just listen to 97.5 the fanatic in Philly. I've listened to Tony Bruno forever.

WIP is awful. Angelo Cataldi makes Mike and Mike sound like Stern, Anthony Gargano is a jock sniffing toolbag, and Eskin's act has grown tired. Eskin being paired with Ike Reese did not help at all, he's terrible.

Fatcesa is definately engrained in the sports culture in the tri-state. I can't imagine when the day comes, hopping in the car in the afternoon and not hearing his voice. The worst is when you put on FAN expecting him, and some clown like Malusis or Carlin is filling in. Or even worse, a Mets game. One of those little disappointments in life, bums you out.

There was even a Sopranos scene where they are listening to Mike & The Mad Dog while they bullshit in the back room of Satriele's Pork Store.

I'm convinced Tony Paige doesn't exist. They just play a tape. He never answers a caller with anything of substance. "Uh huh. I hear you. haha. Yeah. Agreed. Thanks man."
