Neither have the Eagles, and they are supposed to be one of the best teams in the league this year. You suck, and so does your argument.

So they have a good d line and they have megatron. No one is afraid of Detroit.

Holler at me when they have a decent qb that can stay healthy or an offensive line.

Or a RB proven he can get it done week in and week out, a proven LB. They also have a secondary in which Alphonso Smith is starting. If they can get Nnamdi that'd be huge. But please, how much people honestly think they'll get Nnamdi? The Lions made a luxury pick in Nick Fairley. They were already fairly strong at DT and they picked another one anyways despite having other holes. The Lions have potential, thats it potential. Let's not get too excited about them.

Stafford will be healthy this year, I guarantee.

If our oline is soo terrible then why did it give up the 4th least amount of sacks in the NFC last year, despite being the 3rd most pass happy offense in the NFL?:noidea:

I don't think a Packers fan should be talking about Olines anyways.

I do happen to remember the Lions being in every game last year but one. Nearly every loss was by a touchdown or less. We split the series with GB, too. You guys are acting like we are the 0-16 Lions and thinking that we think we will be Super Bowl champions next year. We won't be winning the Super Bowl, but we aren't the laughing stock of the league anymore.

Aaron Rodgers was injured that game and Matt Flynn, a guy who had never started a game at that point, was filling in for him. Not really that impressive. If they ran away with it it would have been but they won by four points.

                  EXCUSES.

Our 3rd string QB was in.

and Matt Flynn played amazing against New England the week after.

But Drew Stanton is maybe the best 3rd string QB in the league

Well he had a full week of preparation there.

Soooo what your saying is that the Lions are an overall better team then the Packers minus Aaron Rodgers?

I didn't watch that game at all. No idea what went on. I'm just fucking around. Seriously though, at one point the Lions were 2-10. The Browns were in a lot of their games last year too and now Mangenius is out the door.

                          Ok... but they finished 6-10?

Vut do the Browns have to do with anything. They were outscored 332-271 on the season.

The Lions were outscored 369-362, a mere 7 points.

That stat is very skewed by the one blowout game the Lions had over the Rams and the game in which the Browns looked like they pretty much gave up against the Steelers. The difference between them is really not that far. The Browns are an example of a team similar to the Lions that won't break out (aside from the reason that they play in a tougher division).

I never said they're a laughing stock. But you're talking like Nnamdi is the missing piece for their super bowl run. They are competitive I'll give you that. And Stafford has proven two years in a row he's made of glass. Good luck with that guarantee.

And the Packers oline was good enough to get a ring. That's good enough for me.

Yea the stat was a reach imo.

Really? I do believe the NFC North is harder than the AFC North.

I mean. The defending NFC Champions Chicago Bears are thurr.

The Superbowl Champions Green Bay Packers (WHO BEAT THE AFC NORTH'S OWN PITTSBURGH STEELERS)

The Lions played close games with both of them.
