this was the only move they can make, fairly or unfairly, to keep free agents from saying "you know what fuck you, no matter how much money you pay me, you got no quaterback and your defense has been losing talent for years. thanks, but no thanks (and they're probably being offered more money elsewhere anyway)Comment

against who? sam bramford? alex smith? the division can be won at 7-9. Kolb is already the best QB in the division, and you dont need corners against the shit starting at qb in the West. Kolb gets them legitimacy, and aside from a bleeding defense, that team is ready to go. a 3-4 that never got finished in SF, and a bunch of no names in Seattle (which wont matter, because they decided to go chillyball, which is about as unproven as reagonomics), and a kid who looks like he just jumped off the short bus and into a rams uniform.

choke the fuck down on your Kolb haterade, this was the ONLY move Phoenix could have made and you'd understand this is if you had any clue about how it is here. who the fuck were they gonna bring in at that point? McNabb? gone. Hasslebeck was already gone. even Tarvaris fucking Jackson was already gone at this point. Shit. TYLER THIGPEN WAS ALREADY GONE. THere was nothing left that could have improved the QB, the position they needed by far over anything else was QB and there and there was no other choice, especially, when it's been known all year long that the deal was inevitable.
here.
let me illustrate because people dont seem to grasp english around here.
nuff said.
not ready, only kept on the roster because he's a hometown QB (played in Mesa, next town over from here). and all preseason long people were like "FUCK IT, START MAX HALL, EVEN THOUGH HE HAD ONE GOOD GAME AGAINST VANILLA DEFENSES IN THE THIRD PRE SEASON GAME".
John Skelton? dude sounds like hes a fucking haloween costume. who is he exactly?
and please for the love of christ dont try to justify either of these glorified camp arms as starters. they tried that last year. people gave up in the Cardinal bars by week 6.
Look, I have no disrespect for anyone on this board except for killgod or goblinslayer, and thats simply because neither of them bothered to offer me any respect at all before we had even interacted, and because they act like their shit doesn't stink. I Just really feel like Kolb to AZ is the same move as Matt Schaub to Houston, which that was even probably a high price too, and none of you crucified that move. Furthermore, AZ, the team, the front office, and the players in the locker room are going to be extremely happy with the MOVE, even if the results dont work out. For the first time since i was old enough to understand football (or at the very least, since Jake Plummer) Bidwell is actually fucking trying, which is worth any price if you want to keep the fanbase and their money.Comment

Kolb's doing fine statistically, he's turning the ball a little more than I'd like but he's also on pace for over 4,000 yards and 20 touchdowns. That's an absolute upgrade over any of the garbage we had on the field last year.
We bring in a brand new QB with no off-season and less than a season of experience under his belt and expect him to wonders. Developing a QB takes time, he still needs to get comfortable with his WR's and line.
P.S. Levi Brown is the worst tackle in the NFL and should be cut, we'd be better off carrying an extra long snapper than waste a roster spot on him.Comment
