This doesn't make sense at all. They changed offenses right after Tim Tebow's worst NFL game of his career. Why would they change offenses when Tebow was playing like shit and getting blown out if they wanted to embarrass him.

If they want to embarrass Tebow, they should be asking him to throw forty times a game, not building an offense to fit his strengths.

IMO, this offence/offense is so ridiculous, they expected it to fail. I mean, really, 8 passes a game???

But it hasn't failed ... much to their surprise.

IMO, if they had run a spread with Tebow with a lot of passing, it would have succeeded too ... because this guy is a winner, like Doug Flutie.

I'm guessing they thought the option offence/offense would put Tebow in a bigger position to fail ... and, to their surprise, it hasn't.

I'm sticking to my theory W2B(4)TD. The Broncos wanted Tebow to fail and he's fucking their world up by winning. I'm not asking you to agree, it's my theory.

They aren't throwing 8 passes per game, they threw 8 passes in one game.

Also interesting to note, is that while Denver is running the ball an average of 18 times more per game, they are only throwing the ball 9 less times per game.

This means they are not only running 9 extra plays per game, but they have also replaced 9 passes with 9 runs. This feeds into the theory that this has also helped the defense significantly, running the clock and keeping the shaky D off the field.

Plus I already showed you, with statistical backing, how Tebow is more successful the less he throws.

Tebow's five games this year, in order from least attempts to most attempts, with the QB rating from each game:

8 attempts, 102.6 rating (KC)
10 attempts, 101.7 rating (SD)
21 attempts, 98.1 rating (OAK)
27 attempts, 91.7 rating (MIA)
39 attempts, 56.8 rating (DET)

The more he throws, THE WORSE HE PERFORMS. So how exactly are the embarrassing him by having him throw less?????????

As the pass attempts go up, the QB rating goes down.

I don't think the spread would work for him in the NFL. He's mobile enough to get around some blitzes but he's gotta have the big guys up front to block for him to give him time to throw or run or whatever option he takes. Spreading out will just put him into the turf. The college playbooks won't protect him enough. NFL blitzes are way too quick.
