IMO, this offence/offense is so ridiculous, they expected it to fail. I mean, really, 8 passes a game???

But it hasn't failed ... much to their surprise.

IMO, if they had run a spread with Tebow with a lot of passing, it would have succeeded too ... because this guy is a winner, like Doug Flutie.

I'm guessing they thought the option offence/offense would put Tebow in a bigger position to fail ... and, to their surprise, it hasn't.

I'm sticking to my theory W2B(4)TD. The Broncos wanted Tebow to fail and he's fucking their world up by winning. I'm not asking you to agree, it's my theory.

So does John Fox swallow his pride and NOT run "his" offense. Does he adapt to his players and run a spread? That's all I care about.

(Also, I just joined this thread so I haven't caught up yet.)

They aren't throwing 8 passes per game, they threw 8 passes in one game.

BECAUSE THEY RAN FOR 244 YARDS, CONTROLLED THE CLOCK, AND DIDNT NEED TO THROW.

This is NOT John Fox's offence/offense. Yes, he likes to run the ball, but this offence is not John Fox's offence.

If they wanted to embarrass him wouldn't they let him pass more?

This means they are not only running 9 extra plays per game, but they have also replaced 9 passes with 9 runs. This feeds into the theory that this has also helped the defense significantly, running the clock and keeping the shaky D off the field.

Plus I already showed you, with statistical backing, how Tebow is more successful the less he throws.

If they wanted to sabotage the guy, THEY WOULD ASK HIM TO THROW MORE.

                Fair point.

I guess my terribly thought out point was: Does John Fox call Urban Meyer and ask for his spread offense playbook?

You know I'm a stubborn motherfucker who isn't backing off on his conspiracy theory. Deal with it.

Tebow's five games this year, in order from least attempts to most attempts, with the QB rating from each game:

                    8 attempts, 102.6 rating (KC)
                    10 attempts, 101.7 rating (SD)
                    21 attempts, 98.1 rating (OAK)
                    27 attempts, 91.7 rating (MIA)
                    39 attempts, 56.8 rating (DET)

The more he throws, THE WORSE HE PERFORMS. So how exactly are the embarrassing him by having him throw less?????????

As the pass attempts go up, the QB rating goes down.

Let this one go dave, you're way off base.

I don't think the spread would work for him in the NFL. He's mobile enough to get around some blitzes but he's gotta have the big guys up front to block for him to give him time to throw or run or whatever option he takes. Spreading out will just put him into the turf. The college playbooks won't protect him enough. NFL blitzes are way too quick.

Or does Elway even say fuck it and try to reunite Tebow and Urban

You know me better than that. Hell, I traded Andrea Bargnani, the Czech 1st round pick and Sonny Weems for Monta Ellis thinking he was my franchise player in NBA 2k12. Hell, I still think Krusty is coming to kamp.

I'm already ready to see how Denvers offense looks in the 1st quarter of their game next week... And we haven't even got to Sundays games yet.
