I don't have a problem with Moss having other interests. I have a problem with him being lazy. You could see it on the field. It's well known that he didn't work on his body. It's also well known that he wasn't a great route runner. That's LAZY.

Gee, I thought that was a form of endearment on VSD/VSN. And what point am I proving of yours? Nothing I've said says it's OK for Moss to be lazy. You're opinion isn't only different, it's retarded (another form of endearment here on VSD/VSN).

Common knowledge says it. He himself saying he doesn't work on his body. Coaches and trainers saying he doesn't. Seeing him be a poor route runner.

He is one of the greatest WR's. And his lack of effort should bother Minny fans quite a bit.

    And thanks for trolling.

I love how fans think that the players owe them something. You sit on your ass all day and watch the fucking games. He's the one putting in the 60-80 hour work weeks.

Fans and writers are faggots sometimes with this "legacy" and "play the game the right way" nonsense. Moss worked 1000x harder at being a pro athlete than any of the fat fucks in the press box or bleachers, yet they sit there in their ivory tower and say "gosh, he's not doing enough". Well, what the fuck have you done?

He still cheated the fans by potentially robbing them of a championship. Yes, they did cheat there fans. As good as they were, they should have been better and could easily have been better. That difference could have been the difference between winning or not winning a championship. The fans potentially did not get a championship because of the athletes lack of effort and commitment. They cheated their fans and teammates.

          Nope.

Iverson doesn't owe anyone a championship. You pay to watch them play, not win, or else people should be refunded if their team loses a match they see...which obviously isn't the case.

So no, he didn't cheat fans. His teammates? Yes, you could make an argument there as an athlete at any level would want his teammates giving their best as they do themselves...but that has nothing to do with the fans.

Moss does work a lot harder at being a pro athlete than I do, cause I don't work at all at being a pro athlete. I work a full week, plus overtime when necessary, for 52 weeks a year minus vacation time at being a software designer, system administrator and network administrator. I would venture that I work 1000x harder at being a software designer and administrator than athletes work at being in software. So what's your point? Yeah, that's right, you really don't have one, your just trolling.

You pay to watch them play to win. You sure don't pay with the expectations that you WANT to see them lose. Iverson owed his fans to be the best basketball player he could be and to help his team be the best the team could be to give his team the best chance to win. That's what fans pay for. To see their team try and win.

You trolling too, or just that out of touch with reality?

I'm not trolling, you simply don't understand what you're paying for.

You WANT them to win but that's not what you are paying for.

Yeah bucky, we're both just "trolling" because you can't accept you're flat out fucking wrong on this one. Whatever gramps, if you're going to be a whiny bitch that's going to play the "you're trollin" card cause you are out of ammo then you can debate with somebody else.

I would guess if I comprised an NBA basketball team with a bunch of 6 foot white guys who hustled all the time, eventually no one would pay to watch them play, because they would be 0-82 every year.

Players absolutely owe fans honest effort.

Now, the issue of wether Moss tried hard is a different argument. But to say athletes owe the fans nothing in terms of effort is absurd.

I do understand what I'm paying for. The question really is, am I getting what I'm paying for from the Organization, Coaches, Athletes.

I do want them to win, and I pay to see then try and win. I sure don't pay to see them not try and win.

Honestly tho, if im watching a game, if a WR doesn't block for 10-15 plays, but catches 3TDs, i'm going to feel like i got my entertainment value more than if he blocks for 20 plays but doesn't catch any TDs.

What if one of those 20 blocks he didn't make would have gone for a TD and put your team in the SB?
