The OFFICIAL Andrew Luck Sweepstakes Thread

Sure the race to the Super Bowl will be fun... but for fans of crappy teams, the race for Andrew Luck could be just as exciting. I expect as a Seahawks fan to be in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes until the end.. but it will be a heated race between the worst of the worst to land the most prized QB prospect in the last decade.

Your Andrew Luck sweepstakes standings as of October 4.

Silly Carolina, they were awful a year too early.

Not a chance. Their schedule is pretty soft and they still have enough talent on the team to win 5 games or so.

              Your sweepstakes favorites IMO:
              Cincinnati
              Seattle
              Buffalo (although they could surprise)
Carolina (they'd take Luck in a heartbeat barring Newton being a mega-star)

cincy in a good choice, one that i am sure mr. luck wants to avoid.

Luck will def. pull an "Eli Manning" with any of those teams that aren't Seattle. To be realistic Carolina won't take a QB with their pick. Cincinnati is the FRONT runner by a TON. That's why I'd take "the Field" on this one. Some team will jump up in the draft and snag him! *COUGH* San Francisco *Cough*

Luck is still a junior. I can't remember, do they have to declare before the #1 spot is set?
If it's Cincinnati, you can be sure Luck will just go back to school.

It won't be Buffalo, I think Buffalo could even get to 8 wins this year. If Newton sucks, it could be Carolina, but with those two RBs there's no reason for that team not to be competitive (again, if Newton doesn't suck).

I don't buy Cincy, I think Dalton will be ok because of Benson and this team was pretty good two years ago. I think they'll rebound.

Seattle is my pick - what they have done with the QB position the past two years is baffling. Giving up premium picks for a practice squad QB, dumping a proven veteran coming off a great playoff upset for a guy who couldn't get wet if he fell out of a boat. Again, baffling.

Seattle should get Luck. Would be great for them to land him.
