Who is the best back in this class?

McCoy is decent, prob go in the 3rd round because people will look at him and say he won't be able to do to NFL D's what he did in college because of the speed of the game. He's a guy that doesn't really have elite speed or strength. I like Donald Brown alot, he might not be the fastest guy, but he runs patiently, finishes runs and falls forward. He kind of reminds me of Matt Forte with a little less speed.

      McCoy fell that far?

The guy was projected to go in the late first, possibly to 'Zona.

What did the guy do? Run a 5.3?

Well, did I miss something? How the hell is he a 3rd rounder all of a sudden?

I was looking forward to seeing this guy in Arizona.

Knowshon Moreno is without a doubt the best back in this draft class.

I would say Wells is the best runningback in this draft class if he stays healthy.

I haven't seen a back in this class with the explosion through the hole like wells has, 1 guy isn't going to take wells down by himself, and while he isn't exactly an elusive runner, he has the power to make up for it, he is huge, and will only get stronger in the NFL.

but the main reason I love this guy is the fact that when he gets the ball, he fucking explodes through the hole, you can see it in his tapes that his acceleration through the hole is beautiful.

                      Knowshon Moreno Draft Analysis:

                      - Is a very shifty and elusive back in the open field.
                      - Great Vision
                      - Finishes off his runs.
                      - Does not have great long speed.
                      - Is not a guy that will run you over but always seems to convert in the redzone and in short yardage.
                      - Good receiver out of the backfield.

                      Chris 'Beanie' Wells Draft Analysis:

                      - Great burst through the hole.
                      - One of the best stiff arm guys i have ever seen.
                      - Will take on any defender and fall forwards.
                      - Does not have great long speed.

My honest evaluation on the two backs. I just think Moreno has more to offer any NFL team.

                          Aren't you like 16?

It's tough to compare the two because they are very different backs. Moreno is more of a WCO style of back in the Bryan Westbrook mold. Beanie is the traditional I-formaiton back (LenDale White with more speed).

Physically I'd say that Beanie is a tick better (size+speed combo), but Beanie also has a long injury history. Knowshon has the "play making" ability (whatever that really is), but that is pretty common among NFL busts.

                          I'll take a lineman instead.

                            1a) Beanie
                            1b) Moreno

Putting my bias aside they are interchangable IMO.

Which one you would take before the other really comes down to system and the players you have at RB.

I think both will not produce Beanie is a "big back, tough back" that has had a concussion? the next one is always easier... and Moreno tends to disappear big time...

I'd rather draft that fast ass HB from wyoming in the 5th round then one of these 2 in the 1st.
