Appearing on ESPN early Friday, free agent T.J. Houshmandzadeh named the Giants, Seahawks, Eagles, and Vikings as teams he'd be interested in playing for.

Houshmandzadeh singled out Minnesota, noting the single teams he'd see with Adrian Peterson in the backfield. He'd supplant Sidney Rice as a starter.

The Bucs are reportedly working to set up a free agent visit with LB Jonathan Vilma.

Vilma would be viewed as a weak-side linebacker in Tampa Bay and the heir to Derrick Brooks. The Saints, however, are feverishly working to lock him up.

The Bengals are close to re-signing wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh, according to the National Football Post. The Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants are both interested in Houshmandzadeh.

Earlier in the day, Houshmandzadeh told the Cincinnati Enquirer that he hadn't even talked to his agent Thursday. I find that really difficult to believe. Houshmandzadeh did acknowledge that quarterback Carson Palmer has been lobbying for him to stay.

Would the addition of Houshmandzadeh be enough to appease quarterback Donovan McNabb? I don't think we're going to find out.

Report: Nate Washington to visit Lions

Former Steelers wide receiver Nate Washington will visit the Detroit Lions on Friday, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

Washington and Calvin Johnson could form a nice duo for a Lions team that lacks certainty at quarterback.
I just seen it on ESPN but...

Albert Haynesworth agrees to a 7 year $100 Million dollar deal with the Washington Redskins

Vinny Cerrato is a terrible liar. After all, look at the guys fucking eyes. My Lord, he has some serious bug eyes going on. I can't bare to look at him when ESPN and NFL Network interview him. You simply can't be a good liar with those buck wild eyes.

....and as shown by the Haynesworth signing, he is :D

P.S. Horrible signing by Washington. If I were a Redskins or Titans fan I'd be pissed.

I think its a great signing. Most dominant defensive lineman since Reggie White. The Redskins couldn't get a pass rush last season and with Haynesworth in the middle will free up Carter and Taylor. I'm not sure if 7 years $100 mil was really smart but getting Haynesworth is good. I think they could've signed him for 7 years $80 mil but whatever.

Gaffney is likley to land in Denver. Fuck. This guy is supremely underrated for a 2nd tier WR.

Taylor's last shot at a SB is now, Maroney can't stay healthy early in his career. (Taylor's missed only 10 games since 02, so he's healthier than what most believe)

However, Taylor had those issues early in his career and still turned into a 10K back that's a longshot at best HOF'er.

The verdict is still out on Maroney, but I bet you see more rushes out of the NE offence until Brady shows on field that he's 100%, and I bet a good chunk of those rushes come from Taylor.
