    after seeing replays and highlights:
RGIII appears to have re-injured his knee on 1st goal, with that roll out and pass to Moss. he fell to the ground after running a little gingerly.....where he was laying on the ground and ripped his helmet off.
he must have knew then and there and was got frustrated knowing that, that was it for his knee.

he did throw that TD making it 14-0 and that really cheap shot he took after the play was over was ridiculous. really classless.......

i do think that putting Cousins in the 2nd half would have been the safer move instead of risking more serious injury. RGIII was obviously and suffering after that play i mention......
but if RGIII wins; all that is not even discussed today

    all the same;
I am happy with who we have and where we are and where we will be going

just tough to swallow that loss today, since we were winning that game on both sides of the ball until the knee
3rd & 14, inside your own 15, up 6, 3:20min left to go = call a PA Pass and Cancel. *its Legit, so no needless complaining

Upcoming FA's......who do you want back.

LB Lorenzo Alexander- Yes please. Great on special teams, one of the leaders on the term and can play most of the LB positions. Could have a chance to start if Fletcher retires.

WR Brandon Banks- Paul and Crawford already supplanted Banks as the returners. With struggles this season and last season, I wouldn't bring him back.

NT Chris Baker- I see no reason to break up the defensive line, who performed well even without solid starter Adam Carriker. Baker's a solid backup for Cofield.

TE Chris Cooley- it was nice to have him back for this run, but Cooley should retire now- he's got nothing left in the tank. Would welcome him back as a coach.

TE Fred Davis- after tearing his Achilles, Davis has to rebuild his value, and I expect him back on a one year deal. Would be great to have him as another downfield option.

DE Kedric Golston- Golston has always been a great backup for us, and can play each position on the line. Definitely bring him back.

CB Cedric Griffin- bring him back. Griffin brought size to the corner position the Redskins sorely lacked. I'd love to get rid of either Hall or Wilson though, and have the Redskins pick up another corner this off-season.

QB Rex Grossman- with the injury to RGIII and the timetable unknown, Redskins need to bring Grossman back. Knows the offense very well, knows the team and knows the role.

LB Rob Jackson- would love to bring him back, but with his solid play replacing Brian Orakpo, Jackson may have played himself into a starting role on another team.

S Tanard Jackson- didn't really see much to base this off of, but the Redskins need safety help in the worse way. Redskins are likely the only team to take a chance on him, and he's again a low risk option for the team, so bring him back on a one year deal.

G Kory Lichtensteiger- was a huge critic up until last year, and had my doubts again this year, but the guy played extremely well and was a huge part of the rushing attack this year. He's probably the #1 priority to bring back.

TE Logan Paulsen- seems to always make a big catch, and also come up with a big penalty. Don't see a problem bringing him back as the #2 tight end, though.

P Sav Rocca- sure isn't slowing down closing in on 40. Punters have a couple more years left after 40, and he's brought some stability to the team, so bring him back.

LS Nick Sundberg- I still don't understand why we have the specialized long-snapper right now, but sure, bring him back.

FS Madieu Williams- no. Williams struggled in coverage, and that's where the Redskins need help from the safety position. I wouldn't worry about bringing him back.

LB Chris Wilson- no. Wilson hasn't developed into what the Redskins hoped as a pass-rushing specialist, rarely getting on the field despite Orakpo's injury. I would draft a linebacker and let Wilson go.

FB Darrel Young- huge part of running game, and I would definitely bring him back.

Following players were signed to futures contracts: nose tackle Chigbo Anunoby, defensive lineman Dominique Hamilton, fullback Eric Kettani, cornerback Korey Lindsey and tight end DeAngelo Peterson.

I don't know much about most of those players, but I really want Eric Kettani to make the team next year as a fan of Navy. It does hurt him that he is a similar runner to Alfred Morris, though.

Also, RGIII's surgery was successful and repaired both the LCL and ACL. Dr Andrews said he should be ready for the 2013 season opener, but I think that might be overshooting his return. I would be OK with waiting a month or two and letting Cousins play rather than trotting out Griffin before he is ready.

NOPE - use Crawford and/or Paul for Returns, lets get a reliable WR

            whatever....dont care

TE Fred Davis- after tearing his Achilles, Davis has to rebuild his value, and I expect him back on a one year deal. Would be great to have him as another downfield option.
NOPE: prior to losing him for season; he did nothing compared to Niles or Paulsen.

DE Kedric Golston- Golston has always been a great backup for us, and can play each position on the line. Definitely bring him back.

NOPE....rather have Vick after Eagles release him

YES - we need Safety help. hopefully he stays clean cause he can be VERY GOOD

G Kory Lichtensteiger- was a huge critic up until last year, and had my doubts again this year, but the guy played extremely well and was a huge part of the rushing attack this year. He's probably the #1 priority to bring back.

YES - but he is getting old so....

LS Nick Sundberg- I still don't understand why we have the specialized long-snapper right now, but sure, bring him back.
            ehhhh....dont care, whatever

NOPE: killed us in Giants game with that Cruz TD and he couldnt dive on that loose ball from Wilson which turned out to be a 30yard gain by Lynch
just stinks but we had no choices......
hell; bring in another CB and let Griffin play Safety.....

LB Chris Wilson- no. Wilson hasn't developed into what the Redskins hoped as a pass-rushing specialist, rarely getting on the field despite Orakpo's injury. I would draft a linebacker and let Wilson go.
NOPE: Orakpo will be back anyway

RGIII will be ready....if AP can come back the way he did, so will RGIII. unless; this injury/surgery is being undersold to us and its worse than they say.
            he is young, strong and has a destiny;
To become the Second Black QB to win the Superbowl!!!!
            Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!

but like i said in a previous post, Knee surgery today is very medically advanced as well as treatment, recovery, therapy......
its not like the Butch Hacking shit they did 10-15 years ago.....
            again; look at AP.

Oh, I know, AP and Logan Mankins are perfect cases as far as players coming back in eight months after knee reconstruction. However, when dealing with a player as talented as RGIII, I would still err on the side of caution. In the case of AP, the guy was essentially the entire teams offense, minus some Percy Harvin earlier. The Redskins won a game with Cousins starting, and had him come in and help win against Baltimore. He's more than capable to fill in for a month just to make sure everything is OK.

Why would you want an overpriced Mike Vick over a guy who knows the system already and makes vet minimum?

                  i hate Grossman......he is barely a 3rd string QB.

and we Cousins anyway, who is younger and more mobile than Grossman......

                  anyway;
Vick will take less money if he wants to be a part of "any team".
i was just using him as an example but would most likely prefer him than Grossman; lol

I can think of the Chiefs with Andy Reid, the Bills and Cardinals who could use starting quarterbacks, long-term or stop-gap, who would offer Vick some decent money over the Redskins to essentially be a third string QB after a month or two. Grossman knows the backup role, knows the team, knows the playbook and was actually solid to start the season in 2011 before the line turned upside down with injuries. He's the perfect backup for the Redskins if they want to retain him.

Why waste any time in practice teaching a new QB the system just so he can be inactive 14 weeks out of the year?

i actually think Vick is going to be with Reid anyway.......he definitely like him. he brought him into Philly.
and he should go with him if Reid asks.

i really wouldnt want Vick even if it was a reconstrutured contract for less money.
we are fine with Cousins as our back up. Grossman is just more of a QB coach in uniform; lol.
then again; as you can tell - i dont like him, so my opinion is already bias.
but you are right about Rex.......
