      That doesn't make any sense.

I don't see Manning wanting to join the Tebow circus.

And the defense was amazing in the second half of last season.

Yeah, Manning will be in Denver tonight to meet with the Broncos. He's close with Elway and they have plenty of cap room.

Some doubt whether he'd want to go there and make Tebow sit on the bench, they're also rep'd by the same people. I'd imagine it would be awesome if Peyton goes there and they get Tebow playing another position where they're both on the field.

            Rotoworld..

Without providing detail, Schefter cited the same reasons that drove away Jim Harbaugh and Jeff Fisher. "I think there are certain circumstances that prevented certain people from choosing Miami," Schefter said. "And I think that those factors will come into play with Peyton Manning." Added Schefter, "I think their chances right now are dwindling some. ... Miami doesn't seem to have an advantage that it did a few days ago, in the estimation of many people around the league."

He's one of the few guys that even the Tebow fanatics would be OK with taking over the reigns.

And you know Tebow isn't going to run to the media and bitch about it, he can sit on the bench and learn from one of the best QBs of all time for a couple years and get to fine tune his abilities.

We have a great group of young wideouts with size and a guy in Royal who would be a perfect slot option for what Manning likes to do.

He's got an LT in place to protect his blindside already and an up and coming defense..

Not to mention the division is as weak as it's been in years and he could almost guarantee a playoff spot for the next couple of seasons.

              Win-win all around IMO.
Or Elway could just trade Tebow to Jacksonville for a new Juggs machine.

              Everybody wins.

Manning and Tebow are represented by the same company. Tebow is too valuable to CAA to have Manning go there and take away his fame/playing time/marketing potential. I smell a planned setup to open a leverage game between Arizona and Miami, one of which will get Manning.

You are kidding yourself if you believe the media wouldn't make a circus out of that situation regardless of how professionally it was handled by all parties. I don't think Manning wants that.

Not to mention that Tebow is a guy who needs to play IMO in order to get better. Sending him to the bench in favor of a veteran rental would obviously be a good move short term, but it would ultimately be stunting the growth of your team.

Tim Tebows head would explode trying to learn from Manning. He will never be able to run the type of offense Manning runs and it would be a waste of his time to even try to.

The offense Denver ran last year with him is what he needs. They just need to build on it and he needs to improve within that system.

Not only that, but I'm sure Manning has no desire to spend any time helping a retard like Tebow read defenses.

And as far as the media.. I'm sure the national media would try and make something of it but there wouldn't be fans buying billboards in Denver to bench Manning for Tebow, I can guarantee that.
I guess we just have a difference in philosophy when it comes to building a team. I would rather have my young QB grow along with the other young players on offense. That way, once everybody hits their prime, everything runs smoothly. Manning will be great for a couple years, but then when Tebow has to take over, you're talking about a different style of player and the timing hasn't been developed like it would have been if he had been playing all along. Tebow isn't an Aaron Rodgers type either. He needs to be throwing footballs in games to become a better passer.
