I get why the Broncos are going after Manning.....but has any QB coming off an OT playoff win against the defending conference champions ever been so disrespected as Tebow? If Manning ends up signing elsewhere they might as well still get rid of Tebow because he will never trust Elway and the front office again.

If you think about it, how many chances will Elway get to "get rid" of Tebow with out a HUGE fan uprising... If Manning goes to Denver fans will be happy for a couple years and Tebow will walk out the back door with OUT a whimper of a fan mutetney... Elway hates Tebow, this is his ONLY chance to make the fans happy, get rid of Tebow and get the opportunity to draft his "vision" of the QB OF THE FUTRUE.... Denver fans will celebrate Elway for years if he brings the biggest free agent EVER. He'll have job security for years and NO fan backlash... Elway should be listening to this right now!

If they do sign Manning and end up trading Tebow before the draft, I hope they draft Nick Foles. He is the only qb outside of Luck & RG3 that I am high on. Weeden is too old and I'm not sold at all on Tannehill. I might go for Kellen Moore but that's a big maybe.

IF they sign Manning, then the regime doesn't have to worry about the QB position and WINS for a couple years. And even then it buys them at least four years! No offense Foles isn't the answer, he couldn't even compete in the sorry Pac12. I'd look four or five years down the line at Cyler Miles (home town kid) when the 4-12 Denver Broncos have a top five draft pick and Miles has brought college football dominance to the Pac12!

There is a misconception with Foles not being able to compete in the Pac-12 when people look at Arizona's record this season. He improved on every season that he played. Yards, tds and completion % got better every season. Especially amazing this year because Foles was being protected by a line that combined had 1 start between the 5 starters. Also the running game was non existent and a wet paper bag could have played better defense than what Arizona put out on field this past season. Only good part of the team was Foles and the wr corps. I witnessed every home game he played in. He did the best he could.
