Assuming Britt stays healthy, Tennessee provides the most weapons on offense.

- Second best pass blocking line adds Steve Hutchinson and possibly a new center
- Line upgrades open up holes for Chris Johnson, who won't have the same kind of year as last season
- A budding star in Britt and reliable 1000-yard guy in Nate Washington on the outside at WR, then Damian Williams and Lavelle Hawkins in the slots with a probable WR addition in the draft

There's more to SF then just Moss/Davis/Crabtree.

Frank Gore is one hell of a pass catcher out of the backfield.

Delanie Walker is an underrated pass catcher.

Crabtree would skyrocket in production with Manning to BTW.

Plus they very well could bring in another WR, if not Clark. Thats fuckin scary.

Moss has faced the same critics before, "old and washed up". He's still got the athletic tallent, size, vert, range, hands. I don't see how he can't be as productive as say Kenny Britt's best season 775 yds 9 TDs, or Damarious Thomas's best w/ 551 yds, 4 tds.

Fact of the matter is the niners don't need Moss to move the ball. They got plenty of targets. What Moss brings that the niners need most is a scoring threat. Somebody who's going to be able to A) catch a deep TD, or B) catch it in the back corner of the endzone for a jump ball down inside the 20. Both of which a slow aging Moss can still do as well as ANYBODY in this league. Period. Moss doesn't have to be 1998 Moss. He just has to be 2012 Moss. Give dude 50 YPG, and 1 TD every other week, you're looking at 800 yds and 8 TDs. With Manning, that is entirely plausible.

How do you figure? Davis is a special athlete that's for sure but if Manning comes to Denver Dallas Clark is sure to follow. I would rank both Thomas and Decker well above Crabs and Moss at this point in their careers and both with the potential to improve, Thomas to potentially an All-Pro level.

Crabtree had much better yardage stats than Thomas last season and he sucks. Thomas had 550 yards and 4 TDs on the season and you are labeling him a future All-Pro. Let's see if he can play a full season even before we announce him as one of the top 4 best wide receivers in the league.

BTW, Darrius Heyward Bey had 975 yards and 4 TDs last season.

Crabtree played 4 games more than Demaryius and was also the #1 WR for the 49ers all season. Thomas only started getting real PT after the Lloyd trade and after that he averaged 106 YPG and 21.2 YPC.

And why shouldn't I compare his numbers to Johnson's? Through the same number of games they are COMPARABLE.

And that's with the guy getting the ball to CJ being able to actually complete 50% of their passes.

When Thomas has been healthy and on the field, he's been unstoppable at times. If he had a guy like Manning throwing him the ball and working with him on his routes and timing he would be one of the best WRs in the league and I don't really care whether you think so or not.

To say Britt was on pace to break every Titans receiving record isn't a fair evaluation of a season worth of statistics. You have to understand that the season is long, 16 games, and a lot can happen. We've all seen good players pop out of the gate like Britt, only to fall flat on their faces soon after. Case in point, he got injured...flat on his face.

As for Thomas, I like him. But don't tell me Alex "throw it away" Smith was a good QB last year. Comparably Vernon Davis has been a far better pass catcher then anybody on the Broncos team. Argument over. But Crabs has seen some problems as well, 5 games out of 3 years. 3 different OC's, Alex "throw it away" Smith at QB, on a team that for his entire career has been run heavy, Crabs has 2240 yards and 12 TDs. Including his rookie season when he had 625 yards after missing pre-season and the first 5 games for sitting out/knee problem. The potential is there for him to be a solid WR if he had at least a decent QB throwing to him. I'm sorry but Smith sucks much ass!

Mar 14 Lloyd is expected to visit the 49ers, the Boston Globe reports.

Recommendation: Wideouts have been flying off the board in free agency and Lloyd could be the next one to get his big payday. With the 49ers, Lloyd would fill out an intruiging receiving corps that already includes Michael Crabtree and Randy Moss. Don't count out the the Patriots though, a situation that would allow Lloyd to reunite with Josh McDaniels and also work with QB Tom Brady.

Mar 14 Manningham is slated to visit the 49ers on Thursday, the San Jose Mercury News reports.

Recommendation: After having added Randy Moss, the 49ers are also in the Brandon Lloyd mix, but either way the fact that they are also bringing in Manningham for a visit reinforces the notion that upgrading at wideout remains a top priority for the team.

The 49ers are definitely looking to add another WR.

Mike Wallace is still a real possibility as well.

The 49ers have $23m in cap to spend, releasing Shawnte Spencer as reported they brings them up to $26m. Broncos only have $27.8m, and more space is expected to be made on restructuring contracts as well. If the niners end up with Wallace, that's one less 1st round salary they have to pay. But they could trade those picks away as well, and avoid taking the cap hit.

There's still a ton of other shit these teams can do to try to land Manning+another WR. Don't fool yourself bud. This is a reality.

If it's not about the money, which Manning has said it isn't, if it's all about winning, he's going to San Fran. If it is about the money, Denver. If it's about job security, Tenn. It's just that simple. I think he wants to win, so San Fran IMO is the place to be.

and the Broncs still won a playoff game against a playoff savvy team,just like the 49ers did..Denver would have just as much potential to get deep in the playoffs as SF would with a supposed healthy Manning...but ,has Moss matured? that seems like a major factor to, in wanting to pull Manning in...can you imagine that huddle or sideline if Moss starts whyning ?
