Many people currently have LSU>Bama even if they lose...if there was a playoff, there is no major reason to change that...unless those people needed a playoff win from Bama to validate them.
Could LSU lose to Alabama in the National Championship and still be #1?

What if i referred to what we have now as a 2-team playoff, would that make everyone accept the winner?Comment

Don't eat the cat.
No. That would just make you stupid.Comment

Oh i see.
So lets say Alabama barely squeaks by a pretty worthless team in the 1st round, while LSU romps...
Then they meet for the title, and Bama wins....everyone would accept Bama as champ? Their weak playoff win would be enough to sway the mind of everyone who had LSU>Bama?Comment
-
Do you?
Because I see more writing below..........
.............I wasn't aware a "worthless" team would qualify for this playoff of 4 teams. How did Akron get a bid?Comment

LOL at ZoneBlitz coming up with idiotic scenarios to try and prove a point.
THis 4 team playoff would have a worthless team in it! ZOMG!

I dont see why each team beating a playoff opponent is enough to sway everyone from LSU>Bama to Bama>LSU.
It actually doesnt make sense.
Im so right that its blows your mind, i forgive you for not being as smart as me.Comment

no one cares who wins this game no matter who's in it anyway..after a conference championship, bowl season is just bowl season..the schools get money, the players get grab bags full of stuff and we get football to watch..until theres a real playoff, its just college football bowl funComment

Im trying to come up with examples that show you how wrong you are...the regular example i was using should do that but you're too stupid to get it.Comment

Sticking to the regular example:
If Bama and LSU each beat a quality playoff opponent...why is that enough to sway everyone from LSU>Bama to Bama>LSU??Comment
