TKE is actually a very good Fraternity nationally.

The TKE chapter at LSU is bad. They were wild in the 80's and they got put out. They had to rebuild the chapter and I believe they are still on probation. My mom told me a bunch of stories about the TKE's while she was at LSU.

Nah that's definitely true. Alabama's social scene is 90% greek, and they make the rules. Most of the greeks at all SEC schools are blatant racists though, so it's not just Alabama.

First night in the freshman dorms at LSU, this frat knocked on all the doors and started rounding us all up to party and try to join their lame fraternity. (It was the worst house and most pathetic group of guys I've ever seen -- the TKEs -- but hey, a Natty Ice keg is pretty enticing to any 18-year old kid, amirite?) Sure enough I get in the bed of a truck, and hear this out of the cab...

"We ready to roll?"

The "nigger" as they called him was politely asked to get out of the vehicle and he did. Everyone else went and drank shitty beer at the worst party I've ever been to. There were a total of two girls there. Oh and I puked in the bushes and got lost on the walk back to the dorm.

They have a national presence because they are huge. They are huge, because they accept pretty much everyone.

It's different at pretty much every school.

SigEp has that reputation at tOSU because they blanket bid anyone over a 3.5 GPA.

Teke's that I know are pretty big douches though. Same with Sig Chi and Kappa Sig.

TKE accepts just about everyone at my college too, and they are by far the largest fraternity. Crazy thing is that they are probably the least douche-iest frat because they bring in so many common people that most of them aren't overly dedicated to the Greek lifestyle.

The same fraternity that lets in anyone? Shiiiiiit, I've never heard a good TKE story.

It's funny MvP, they allow in most people at my school, but most of the common folk don't want to be apart of them. Hell, their own alumni kicked them out of their house at my school.

I almost cried at Sportsbuck saying TKE is a "good" fraternity.

1.) That's a beautiful paradox.
2.) At USC, a university with a robust greek system, TKE is where all of the losers go.

In summation, in a pool full of losers, TKE kids are the ones being held under the water.
