When is oversigning going to be fully addressed like it needs to be?
It's either Richt or Spurrier. He bounced between the two. I know he had an offer from SC, then talked to Richt about playing somewhere then getting a scholly the next season.
Big Ten schools have started making scholarships 4 year deals (they can still be revoked for academic troubles and off-the-field issues).

Illinois has confirmed to ESPN.com that is offering 4-year scholarships. Joins OSU, PSU, WIS, MSU, Northwestern, Iowa. #signingday
On a related note, Nick Saban just asked 3* DE Darius Philbon to greyshirt... today.
That is nothing compared to the laughable "no shirt" contract he made Justin Taylor (a fellow NAHS player, btw ). Luckily Taylor wised up and saw how bad Saban was boning him and signed with Kentucky this morning.
Kinda of hard when kids change their minds minutes before they are going to sign LOI.
Very few kids actually make the ol switcheroo like that.
There is a lot of shenanigans that go on behind the scenes that lead to switcheroos.
Example.
Miami picked up a kid named Ja Wand Blue today. Was committed to VT since July. He's wanted the Miami offer...a few days ago, we basically tell him his scholarship offer and LOI will be there, but its conditional.
A) Reggie Northrup needed to decommit to FSU.
B) Avery Young signed elsewhere.
IF we got a commit from Young, Blue would have to wait for someone not to qualify or greyshirt.
He had no problem with any of that, was told ahead of time, agreed to it, and left Beamer at the alter.
It happens, there is just a lot of shenanigans that go on before kids send their LOI's in.
Another is Brandon Hollifield from Godby HS. Committed to Miami since the summer. However, there was an altercation with him and a teacher/coach...Miami wanted him to come through with letters of recommendation before they gave him the LOI because of it. Supposedly, no LOI showed up for him...he went to UMass.
