I'm not ignoring what he did off the field. I'm pretty sure I've made mention of his enabling child rape or 15 years.

If you want to say I'm choosing to discount the fact that he helped college students on his team for many years then you're correct I am.

Have fun at Guantanamo, fruit pop.
And I'm the one using strawman arguments? Lol. C'mon.

You must be joking. You act as if McQueary was the only, or even the first, mention of this.

I don't want to rehash, but there are at least two official accounts of Sandusky being witnessed in the Penn State football facilities molesting children before the 2002 report. If you expect me to believe that your analogy is applicable, well ... don't. It's a terrible analogy.

He helped build that entire university into what it is. Not sure for his players.

Just keep posturing and ignoring the big picture. We are all impressed. Really.

Which, as it would turn out, is an insulated fortress of criminal activity.

I love how people who's everyday decisions or actions more than likely affect no one can pass judgements on someone whose actions affect millions of people and more times than not did the right thing. This guy has helped more people in his sleep than most people have if they lived three lifetimes.

              Fucking morons.

Except it's universally seen as a "great university" even by those who had a Joe PA death countdown clock going on.

My point is more towards the idea that professors, alums and students don't deserve the scorn that a corrupt power base and football team created.

It's not fair for every PSU alum to get the "Oh...Penn State huh..."

Isn't that what the basis of a good school is, academics?

Most people don't want to go to Penn State because of the biology professor.

Case in point University of Iowa.

Great medical school, but most kids go because of the atmosphere and football team.

Not quite sure what you're trying to say there.

Fuck the University of Iowa. Ferentz kids sold drugs.

Who goes to a college because of its football program, other than football players?

University of Iowa was the first party I ever went to with an entire basement of people doing coke and meth.

Still the only one as well.

You're telling me going to NIU because of Michael Turner was a bad idea?
