Not to mention it being his final year of his contract. I expected much more. Ill support him though, I wont abandon the team and throw a hissy fit about it. I hope he makes me eat my words, and be behind him as long as he don's the flag.
    1) Raheem had to go. Even guys that were at alumni day and watching practices talked about how fucked up things were. Practices were disorganized, not planned out well, a lot of fucking around basically. There was a reason guys like playing for Raheem - he was their buddy and not their coach. Raheem had to go no matter what. It was that fucked up and that far gone.

    2) I told you exactly why I was pissed with Gruden's firing. The way they pulled rank on him and basically told him how to run the team. Raheem went to a interview in Denver and essentially came back and slit his throat. I would never support him.

That is what I heard about Morris too......even following a 10-6 season, this team looked bad. The concern that he was too close to his players was there when he was hired, and that looks to be why they let him go.

What is actually great for Morris' development as a coach is that he will be with the Redskins. He will be able to learn from Haslett and Shanahan, so hopefully he can take lessons from them to his next stop, which will probably be as a coordinator. Then, in a few years, he can go back out for head coaching interviews again.

As far as Chip Kelly is concerned, does anyone see Spurrier 2.0? Because I sure do, and knowing my experiences with Spurrier, keep a college head coach with a gimmick offense away from the NFL.

Maybe someone with more knowledge can confirm or deny this but nothing I ever saw in his playcalling really struck me as being particularly "awesome".

I mean it was good, don't get me wrong but he was also playing with an insanely talented, largely gimmick team. He always had a speed advantage in the Pac-12.

His sort of stuff won't work in the NFL but is he some great playcaller that just happened to play with insanely talented speed guys?

Seems like a weird move for sure. Not sure why you leave Oregon which is a dream job at this point for a college coach with the combination of great facilities, top notch endorsements from Nike and a relatively easy conference.

His playcalling is not what was revolutionary, it was the pace between snaps. His offense was the Seven Seconds or Less of college football.

His actual playbook was pretty simple actually, most of the passing routes were simple look routes off the line of scrimmage. If you are uncovered, run a hitch, if you see zone run a slant, if you see man run a fly, etc. And the running package is not all that different than what Urban Mayer or Gus Malzahn run.

Not very revolutionary other than the tempo. In other words, they hired D'Antoni. As for why Kelly would leave, ask Pete Carroll how dodging NCAA sanctions works.

Yeah, nevermind just read that on a few sites. Makes a lot of sense why he's bolting.

                Pure college sports strike again.

To the fucktard who said we have no QB or RB, we have Barner and Deanthony Thomas, to go along with Tra Carsons. We are fine at RB and our QBs will be even better than Darron.

Sanctions won't be too bad if anything.

Who do the Duck's hire if Chip leaves?
I heard Joey Harrington is looking for work.

Wait BB thinks Raheem shouldn't of been fired?

As for chip, put Josh Johnson as you're starter, draft the fastest/most elusive RB there is, and bring that gimmick offense to the NFL and I'll be entertained for a while.

Ducks interested in Chris Petersen if Kelly goes. Petersen rumored to listen as he once was a Duck!

Given the alleged recruiting allegations, I don't think Petersen would bolt Boise quite yet. Still, anything is possible, especially if he has ties to the school.

Nothing has come of the allegations and school is under impression nothing major would come if anything. So no loss of games.

Also, look at what Urban Meyer just put up with going to OSU.

Still not sure he'd bolt from BSU but if there was any team that he'd leave them for, Oregon is it.

He isn't leaving Boise until the Texas job opens up.
