I'd take a broken down, paralyzed from the neck down Peyton Manning over Sanchez 10 times out of 10. I can only hope that we'll go after him like our life depends on it.
Report: Manning may never play again

Based on what? He's been throwing for a month now, he says he's getting better, his doctor said he's getting better, Joseph Addai said he's almost there ... stop believing the bullshit speculation based on unnamed "sources" ... There is nothing that points to him not playing again, Irsay is just being cheap.
This is his neck and spine we are talking about. I don't care if he's been throwing for a year. This isn't flag football.
And I don't believe Peyton for one minute. Why would he say it's not going well? He is trying to get paid. He is going to say all the right things in order to get that $28million. And all his doctors are going to say all the right things too if they know what's good for them.
I just read these stories and build my own idea of what's going on. That's all you can do. I don't trust the media but I don't trust Peyton, either. Facts are his neck is fucked up and he just sat out an entire year because he needed multiple surgeries and he's still not cleared to play.Comment

If you actually think the only thing they are worried about is his arm strength then you must be retarded.

Hypothetically: Is it possible for Manning to say cut that bonus in half or redo his contract? Then it would be easier for the Colts to keep him.

It's pretty much a foregone conclusion that Manning isn't going to return to the Colts. I know, he hasn't had a meeting with Irsay and all, but lets me serious here. The organization is moving forward with Luck and Luck doesn't need to sit and learn from anyone. Rookies have been coming in and doing well, and considering Luck is even more prepared he won't be sitting behind anyone. It appears Manning will return to the NFL, which is a good thing.Comment

Wasn't Manning over-seas getting experimental treatment on his neck anyways? Was there any question that his shit would be severely fucked by the time he came back around? Regardless, hopefully someone takes a chance on him, whether it's just to play or to come in and coach a youngin'. He deserves that much at least. (That is if he wants it.)TST Coach Jewrman Plague: Arizona Cardinals 7-7

yeah sure, you guys are going to say that of course he'll say that. But you really have no clue what theyre thinking. If he actually had no chance of playing again, they wouldnt milk it this far.Comment

I hope you're kidding. He'd cost a ton of money and the risk is too great. The Jets have other issues to address besides Sanchez. Enough with the quick fixes.Comment

the owner knows nothing one way or the other as of now, they still have no idea which direction they are going to go at all yet. He said so himself.

absolutely. So long as the Colts still want to try and keep him. If both sides really want to stay together then this is what will happen.Comment
