And using ridiculously small sample sizes to dictate your opinions. If Welker doesn't drop a pass, the same people are doing the "IS TOM BRADY THE BEST EVER?".

How about we just look at someones entire body of work?

Someone said that was the best throw ever by Eli

Even an Eli homer like myself is going to have to take the high road on that one.....hard to top Big Ben to Holmes FTSBW

Bottom line is opposing fans feel like he gets more credit than he deserves, so when they have an opportunity to say it's Brady's fault they go insanely overboard.

Brady got bailed out vs. Baltimore and shouldn't have even been here this year, and then he got fucked this week vs. Giants. It goes both ways.
            how did Brady get 'fucked'

Brady did nothing after the drive in the 3rd, you're really putting it on Welker to make that catch every time?

It's not like Brady had a Doug Williams like 2nd and put up 30+ points, he got them 17 and than nothing for pretty much the 2nd half of the game minus the first drive

Only games played in February matter.

The throw wasn't good or bad, it was just weird (referring to Welker's drop).

Brady saw Welker wide open and kinda lobbed it in there. I'm not sure Welker was expecting that type of throw. It seemed like it took forever to get there.

I drop the ball all the fucking time when that happens (mainly because I suck) because you're expecting to be hit or you think the ball will get there sooner. My guess is Welker ran that route a million times and just wasn't ready for that type of ball.

                      This thread is interesting.

One level is the original story. Larry cements Eli as a HOFer b/c of XLVI. W2B says the events of the 4th quarter of XLVI impacting it to any degree is laughable.

The other level is then people talking about whether Eli is a HOFer with the lense of his entire career to date.

Then there's the people piling on Brady.

                          Great post.

With the margin between winning and losing being so small in these games, it's amazing to me how people give so much credit to the winning QB's and so much blame to the losing QB's, with so little regard to the overall performance and the actions of the other players. It really is astounding.

What can I say, Montana has that clutch touch, the ball was thrown like pillow

Clark just had to go up and get it while running towards the pass, Welker had to turn around and boogie down for Tom

                              Brady isnt even Joe Montanya
