And don't give me that shit about football being ANYTHING like war and if it were, that THAT'S the reason the game is so classy. It's a game where two guys run into each other to get a pigskin. Pure and simple. Unless a receiver has to dodge an M16 when he goes across the middle, don't even try to make the comparison.

The Saints aren't in trouble for being dirty, they aren't going to be punished for being dirty, they are in trouble for placing bounties on players.

Seriously, the lengths you guys are going to defend something indefensible is amazing to me.

The goal of football is to defeat the other team.

You simplify football into just "scoring." Like all that happens on a field is "scoring" and that's all that matters. Just outscore the other team and you win.

Give us your pads and helmets, you don't need those, just outscore the other team. THat's what Greg Williams should have said.

        You're a joke.

Chances are I was going to go out and try to knock him out anyway, but now that I'm being paid to do it makes it wrong?
If you can't figure out how the second example is different from the first, then there is no point debating this, because you are dense.

Nothing dirty going down? I've seen a guy kick another man in the face. How is that not dirty or barbaric? As opposed to a guy with pads and a helmet, a flac jacket, and all sorts of other padding hielding him from another hit is more barbaric?

Are you really trying to tell me that football is more barbaric than MMA? We're getting off topic here. Let's get back to football. I don't want the MMA crew jumping me.

If there are nutbags in the NFL actively trying to hurt other players, no one likes it but unless that douche opens his mouth about it, no one will ever know the difference.

But if the coaches promote injuring players, then yes, that's fucked up and they deserve strict punishment from ownership and the league.

Aside from all this, the Saints could get their punishments moreso from coverups in the organization than the act itself.

This is how it works, yes.

Are you even being serious at this point? How many points are injuries worth?

This is how you finish every argument because you can't explain your logic. You always leave with a "you are dense," or "you really are the dirt worst," without actually having explained a single thing logically.

You are constantly contradicting yourself on here and you are a complete hypocrite too, talking about other guys like they are scumbags like you are some nobleman who is smarter and better than everyone else.

                      It's fucking laughable.

MMA is a sanctioned fight. Kicks are legal. How is that dirty?

Jeez, you should never watch Vale Tudo then, you'd probably get nauseous real quick. Nothing wrong with that, but what's wrong with kicks? This ain't boxing, jiu-jitsu or judo...it's EVERYTHING .

So what's the difference between 11 on 11 flag football and pro football then?

The goal is just to score points in both right?

Why do they even have pads and a helmet in the NFL?

Please tell me oh wise one.

How is hitting another player clean dirty then in football?

If i don't get flagged for it, it is legal, how is that dirty? HM?

It's about how many dirty plays.

It's about the fact the Saints coaches paid guys to purposefully injure people. Then apparently, your GM who's fucking up the Brees negotiations, covered it up when told by the league/ownership to make sure it ended.
