Your post must of been lost in the rest of the stupid posts made in this thread.

I'm sure if I feel like sifting through an hour or so of defensive injuries or dlinemen tape I'd find a good amount of evidence. Am I going to do that though lol no.

Their coach had incentives in place for players on their defense to be bitches and injure people. Yah he just wants them to hit others harder lmao.

I understand you don't watch the Saints. As you know I watch every game. Nothing out of the ordinary. Shit there was a point where most of the Saints penalties was fucking false start and holding. Not even on the defensive side of the ball. Guys are just playing football, but them getting caught means they are dirty. Fuck it take your title and roll with it. Make your thing. Nothing they can do now to change anyone's perception of them

Yah take that title and watch the flags come rolling in from reputation...

          Some hilarious football insight here.

I'm showing you why that kind of football tactic is unsafe, stupid and silly and promoting it as something your team should make it a "thing they do" is also stupid. Once Bree's gets his $25mil a year deal done and teams just start targetting his head for retaliation I'm sure your still going to be thinking its a great idea for their defense to be that way.

The hits were clean before then they'll be clean after. This isn't bball where the phantom calls just come from reputation

It has everything to do with playing to hit hard. I can't believe you still think that they are taking aim at certain parts of the body with the intent to injure. You just don't understand how difficult that really is apparently. You end up out of position that way.

                      Not really.

I started to look at fines and penalties over the last few years. Saints for the past couple have been getting a lot of helmet to helmet, after the whistle late hit stuff. Unneccesary roughness and such.

Not really making a team more tougher to play against or anything just a bunch of guys trying to get some extra money by being cheap.

I see things like late hits on Eli Manning a couple times. Facemasks and hitting guys while out of bounds low (Freeman) for example.

                      Things like this pop up:

                      [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mt-Gvj3eer0"]Steve Smith and Malcom Jenkins Fight *2011 - YouTube[/ame]

Fairly harmless looking play but come on.

Why is it so god dam hard to find NFL plays on youtube.

Is there another source for them somewhere?

You should no problem finding tons of examples from a dirty team. As far as the Steve Smith play is concerned that is a rival and that game very chippy from the opening kickoff. That wasn't the 1st fight, but out of context it looks pretty bad. Still looks bad though

It's a little disturbing that you see nothing wrong with this.
I see nothing wrong with it because it's the nature of the game. If I tell a guy to fill the alley at full speed, I don't expect him to get there and play patty-cake with the running back.

Why not have a reward system? A "big hit" is too subjective, so he said if you need to injure a guy. I really don't see why it's a big deal. Every player in the NFL gets some type of ding in every single game. There's not one guy in the league after week 3 that isn't hurt in some way. I think it's cool, actually. Go knock a dude out. That's how we play D.

To me, it's foolish of you to think this doesn't happen everywhere, or if it's not to the extent of paying players, there isn't one guy out there who isn't trying to get a knock-out hit on his resume. Tell me when you played in HS you didn't want to de-cleat a guy. There's no guarantee that he gets hurt, but fuck, if he does, I'm getting paid. I win twice.

I am just going back to the football is about trying to outscore their opponents then you win nothing else matters argument.

If you score more points you win! Simple as what WTB said.

Example? The 15-1 Packers during the regular season. Did ANYONE see a team with a yellow helmet even so much as touch someone much less make a hard, clean legal tackle that put someone on the ground?
