Jeff Ireland really has to stop asking prospective Dolphins if their momma was a ho.
Matt Flynn agrees to a deal with Seattle

Horrible comparison. Rob Johnson would rather surf than play NFL football. That is why he ultimately flamed out. Matt Flynn is very passionate for the game of football unlike Johnson. Get that shit out of here.Comment

It has nothing to do with coach Philbin and everything to do with Stephen Ross possibly being the worst in the league at what he does.Comment

Im not convinced Matt Flynn will be considerably better that Matt Moore either, to be fair.
People are killing the Dolphins here, but is it really that horrible of a decision to pass on giving $26MM to a guy with two starts?Comment

So the Kolb comparison is no good, the Johnson comparison is no good, the Mitchell comparison is no good...apparently only the Schaub comparison is valid, because it fits your narrative (after it took him half of his contract to live up to it).Comment

just like the world having a hard on for RG3. it cracks me up at how people just jump on the bandwagon for these guys. everyone is so caught up in rg3 that they forgot the names of every other blue chip prospect coming out in the draftComment

The Dolphin fans are pissed because when they hired Philiben they assumed it would be a package deal with Matt Flynn, who played so well within their system, albeit in 8 quarters, with 4 only really meaning anything.
I'm not really on the Flynn train. My take is, if this coach can get that much out of Matt Flynn, lets see what can he do with a QB like Brandon Weeden, or Case Keenan....Comment

And I'm not saying there is a 100% chance he succeeds either if thats what you took away from that.
At least it's not like the Seahawks trade for Charlie Whitehurst with 0 career pass attempts.Comment

I don't think this is terrible for the Dolphins either. They could always ride with Moore this season and try again for a potential franchise QB next off-season. This would be a much better plan than trying for Garrard or Smith.Comment
