The show said that they asked players to list their top 20 players. I wanna know who heard the words "top 20" and thought of John Kuhn.

If Kuhn played for the Titans or the Rams or the Vikings or some other irrelevant team, he wouldnt sniff a list like this. And not because he doesn't deserve it, because he might, but it's because he plays for a great team.

When it comes to the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE, and things like these lists, and Pro Bowls, and Hall of Fame voting, in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE, it always comes down to players who play on good teams. If you look at Pro Bowl history for example, hard to quantify positions like center and fullback are almost always occupied by players who play for the dominant team. That's just the way it is, because NFL performance is the hardest performance to quantify by fans and writers and even other players, because there are no stats to fall back on for most of the positions. So Kuhn is on TV every week and most people couldnt even name 25 out of the 32 starting FB's, so yeah.

Would the players think Kuhn is a top 100 player if he played for a 2-14 team? Highly fucking doubtful, but at the end of the day, who gives a fuck. Ranking FB's against LG's and WR's and QB's is really fucking stupid and the lowest form of football talk.

Romo should probably be a little higher than 91 but lets not act like this is an outrage. Considering there are 22 positions on both sides of the ball (I'm excluding kickers and punters) its pretty reasonable to say, on average, there are 3-4 players better than Romo at each spot. So yeah, Romo should be no higher than low 80's.

I can tell by your use of NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE that you also think its annoying as fuck when announcers/analysts/players call it that. Just say NFL you dolts.

I made the same argument against Josh fucking Freeman last year, and the homer brigade (bigbucs & Blick) were all over me.

Anyway, it is kind of laughable that a FB is ranked anywhere near a quality QB like Romo. How can you take that seriously?

Fullbacks are irrelevant so I'll agree with you there. But Romo is about where he should be on this list, like I said maybe he should be in the 80's but lets not kid ourselves here.

He was 72 or something last year, had a career year, and drops 4 spots ahead of Tebow... Only Tony Romo can have a career year, do almost all of it with a punctured lung and broken ribs, and drop down to a spot barely better than a QB who cant do half of what Romo does. Its like the posts above about how Kuhn is only on the list because he plays for a great team, well if Romo didn't have a shitty line and a defense that constantly failed him he'd be at least in the top 50 no questions asked. Its retarded anyway you look at it.
