Tony Romo is the most unfairly criticized player in the NFL, and possibly all of sports. But that comes with playing the most high profile position of the most popular team in all of sports.

When it comes to the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE, and things like these lists, and Pro Bowls, and Hall of Fame voting, in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE, it always comes down to players who play on good teams. If you look at Pro Bowl history for example, hard to quantify positions like center and fullback are almost always occupied by players who play for the dominant team. That's just the way it is, because NFL performance is the hardest performance to quantify by fans and writers and even other players, because there are no stats to fall back on for most of the positions. So Kuhn is on TV every week and most people couldnt even name 25 out of the 32 starting FB's, so yeah.

Would the players think Kuhn is a top 100 player if he played for a 2-14 team? Highly fucking doubtful, but at the end of the day, who gives a fuck. Ranking FB's against LG's and WR's and QB's is really fucking stupid and the lowest form of football talk.

        Sure.

But only in the lazy analysis world of THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE do "winning" FB's rate higher than far more valuable "losing" players.

Let's remember, if Tony Romo throws a more accurate pass or if Miles Austin can bring it down...Eli isn't a 2x Super Bowl MVP or surefire Hall of Famer.

Comparing players at different positions is stupid, but there are 3-4 guys at each position better than another guy at this position. Awesome.

Am I missing something? Why is Ryan Kalil on the list?

He said comparing FB's to other positions was stupid because FBs are almost extinct in the modern game and hardly make an impact. It wasn't other positions in general.

What's your beef with Ryan Kalil? Dude was a pro bowl alternate two years in a row and the Panthers just stuck the franchise tag on him. I don't have a problem with him being 99.

Yes, you are missing something. He is the best lineman the panthers have. (Not saying much but its gotta count for something, right?)

I find it tough to believe that there are no QBs that fit into the massive gap between Romo and Tebow.

I think he thought that was Matt Kalil.

When I was watching the NFL show I saw Ryan Kalil and at that moment I realized, "Wow, I bet he's related to Matt Kalil!"
