T.O Gets Number 81, James Hardy Forced to Switch

Why was he forced to switch? Because he is T.O.?
If Marvin Harrison went to Buffalo, and wanted 81 the title would have been...
"Harrison gives blow job for number, and then pays his yearly salary"Originally posted by Leftwich 2-14-2009I wasn't comparing myself to Wildcard. I honestly don't think I could compare myself to God.

i don't mind if u pay a lil bit or something, or do something nice for the player. but if u just go in and say "hey u suck i want my # cuz im awesome" u deserve to get shot and dumped into the atlantic ocean

lol, i saw this on TV. I don't think this is right at all. I remember when Burress went to the Giants Feagles wore #17 and Burress wanted 17 because he was signed on March 17. They had to make a deal. The deal was Burress had to pay for his family's vacation.Comment

Get yer popcorn ready, cuz it's gonna be a show in Buffalo

Where in the article does it say he was forced to give up the number? Or because it's T.O, you people just have to make up a bunch of shit, when in fact, Hardy probably offered to give it up.Comment

Yeah. Well, I highly doubt Owens walked up to Hardy and said ''You suck, I want my number.'' Now, I could be missing some of this story, but I don't see where Owens demanded it, or how Hardy was forced to give it up. If I'm missing it, please link me. If we're going to assume, though - I like to think Hardy, being a young upcoming football player, offered to give up the number, to welcome his fellow team mate. It would be a nice gesture, to kick things off. I'm a T.O hater, always have been, but some of the shit that comes up, even amazes me.
Same thing would have happened if Warner had went to the 49ers - He would have gotten #13, but because he's not T.O, nothing would have came of it.

What i saw was T.O. was being interviewed and was asked what he was going to do about his number. The host assumed that he would have to make some sort of deal with Hardy and he asked some sort of question like have you talked with James Hardy about the #81. He said no, when he was introduced to the locker room in his locker he had an Owens jersey with #81. Already on it. T.O. didn't demand the number. The Bills just gave it to him. Great way on the Bills part to stir up some controversy already.Comment

the bills probably shouldn't have done that, and T.O probably shouldn't have said that's his number.

The only thing that article proves, is that they have their heads up T.O's ass more than some of you. Seriously, if this shit had happened with Kurt Warner/Shaun Hill, there wouldn't have been an article or a thread. But it's Terrell Owens, so......
It's his number, and he should have it.
Hardy can switch back later, when he decides to accomplish a single fucking thing in the NFL.
I'd like to know the full story before condeeming T.O. Now, if he actually walked up and said ''I want my number, because Hardy sucks,'' then I'd have a problem. I'd also like to know how the situation with Hardy was handled. Did they discuss the situation with him? If so, I'm sure Hardy didn't have any problem with it. This just seems like another good old fashioned ''bash T.O'' story, which in most cases, I'm sure he deserves. When you bring in a prized free agent, like a TO, the guy deserves to have his number, in my opinion.Last edited by Nukleopatra; 03-12-2009, 07:34 PM.Comment
