    The amount of helmets we see knocked off each game is absurd. A helmet that loose is dangerous because it allows the skull to be knocked around within the helmet, it's hardly secure at all.

    I remember my helmet was so tight that when I took it off my damn ears almost ripped off the sides of my head.
    Me too.

    And I always think about that when I see helmets get knocked off. Forget knocked off, half the time these helmets fall off.

          It's not proven 100% that mouthguards can prevent concussions. However, a lot of experts believe by wearing one, you can lessen the impact on the brain when receiving a hit.
