I'm not making a direct comparison between Brees & Flacco.

My point is that it's hard for me to believe Brees is the best QB in football (let alone the best player in football) when he has never won a road playoff game. This is amplified by the fact that it's easier than ever in a watered down league to win those types of games.

He alone is the reason for his road playoff record?

I really can't remember a time when the best player in the sport was actually the highest paid player. Maybe Manning for a year or 2 and Jordan in his final years in Chicago. IMO Brees isn't being paid because he is the best player in the league, but instead because without him the Saints would be horrible and his contract is up. It's a perfect storm for him.

          Please.

Big time QB's win on the road in the postseason. He's been in the league for a decade and has never won a road playoff game. He's not on the level of people like Brady or Manning, who go on the road and rip your fucking heart out. But he is insisting on being paid like those guys.

So everyone would have had us believe during the Super Bowl run.

If Brees were to win a road playoff game would he change as a player?

Yeah, i guess he just doesnt want it bad enough when he plays on the road in the playoffs.

And being highest paid is never about being the best player overall or at a position, its just a marquee name who happens to get a new contract at that time.

I mean he did win a Super Bowl by himself and single handedly rescued every trapped citizen in New Orleans and is now the sole reason for happiness in New Orleans.

In his last playoff road game Drew Brees led his offense to 32 points vs San Fran's #1 ranked defense.

He's also only played in 3 road playoff games.

This is the dumbest argument ive heard in a while, i hope W2B was trolling.

The point here, is Brees demanding more money than QB's who are clearly better than him, and it bugs me.

QB's like Eli Manning & Big Ben & Tom Brady & Peyton Manning go into hostile environments in bad weather in January and beat quality teams. Frequently.

Drew Brees goes into Seattle as defending SB champion and can't find a way to get past the 7-9 Seahawks.

When has he done anything in a big spot, on the road, outside of that comfy dome?

...and so do the other QB's i've compared him to.

And they get it done on the road in big spots, he does not. The idea that he thinks he is worth more than Tom Brady is ridiculous to me.
