When I read this in my mind it sounded like some nasally voiced announcer saying it and going all in depth and then his partner just going "ok...well beautiful weather for todays game."

Chad Pennington called it quits so we don't have to worry about him winning the award for a third time.

            Mike Vick

I think that in addition to including guys who come back from injury, they should also include guys who come back from jailtime or drug-related suspensions...kinda like how Jason Giambi won the MLB Comeback Player award.

Homer vote would clearly be Jon Beason, if the defense improves and he puts up big numbers... but I think Vick because that team is loaded, they seemed to start putting it together at the end of last season, and if he plays 16 games and they win 11-12 games I see him having a real shot at it over Peyton, unless Peyton comes out with a 4,500 yard 40 TD <10 interception season.

The moment Peyton takes a snap he won.

Please tell me what BIG NUMBERS you expect a linebacker to do that can hope to compete with Peyton Fucking Manning returning from neck fusion surgery?

Beason could have 350 tackles and he still wouldn't beat Peyton Manning for this award.

Peyton will win it but it wont mean that Jamaal Charles wasnt more deserving for balling out of control with Matt Cassel handing him the ball.
