This Russell Wilson hysteria is getting out of hand. It seems more and more people are buying into him.

The Seahawks looked really good tonight. But Kansas City also looked fucking terrible.

EDIT: I figured my post should actually say something. My prediction: Russell Wilson is going to start week 1. And the decision should be made now(sometime this weekend/before this next week of practice) but will probably continue to be a "position battle" and not be decided until the conclusion of the preseason.

Looks like Wilson will get the nod based upon his performance...it's just death for a team to draft a young QB if your the incumbent or are a FA going to a new team where u "feel" you maybe a starter...

His preseason stats are insane. Pete Carroll would be a retard not to start him week one. He's got the starting gig wrapped up. I'm extremely interested in how this translates into the regular season. I wasn't a fan but how can you not be after how he's played?

I agree with you that KC looked bad. Their offense looked completely clueless tonight and they had no idea how to stop the Hawks. 6 straight scoring possessions followed by a missed field goal? Jesus Christ.

Great job by Wilson, had a couple iffy throws but overall looked very solid with his touch. Kid is a burner, too.

Flynn and Wilson's performances so far, I think this adds to the reality that Philbin didn't want to give Flynn a ton of money to come to Miami because he wasn't sold on him. Wilson deserves it and I hope the guy does well.

KC had the #11 D in the league last season. And the #6 passing D....and without Eric Berry. They arn't exactly scrubs.

I think Wilson has earned the right to be right there in the mix. And Flynns elbow is apparently bothering him so missing time isn't gonna help him win the job either.

I think Wilson has earned the right to be right there in the mix. Had Flynn come in and separated himself from the pack then this wouldn't be a conversation, but he didn't so if he doesn't start it's as much on his pedestrian play in games and practices as it is on Wilson showing out.

I'm watching this game right now and it's becoming less and less impressive with how terribly #30 Jalil Brown has played filling in for Brandon Flowers. About 3 minutes to go in the first quarter, Russell Wilson has one completion not in his area and that was like a 1 or 2 yard completion to Winslow. He also got a pass interference call throwing a #30 Jalil Brown. I'll keep watching but I was expecting more.

Would you like him to do backflips while picking apart the defense?

Have to tip my cap to Wilson. He had to play his ass off and he did. He deserves the starting nod. I don't think that says anything bad about Flynn, Wilson has arguably been the best rookie QB in preseason so far.
