Got a question for one league, already behind the 8-ball as Rodgers and Forte had pedestrian performances and James Jones blew it.

Trent Richardson or Alfred Morris on my flex spot this week?

I can start two receivers as Jones already played. Dez Bryant, Jeremy Maclin, Brandon LaFell and Kenny Britt are my options left.

      As of this moment...

      Amendola = 0 points

      James Jones = -0.1 points

Have you ever won a week of fantasy football in your life??

Isn't Maclin hurt? I also read Britt will only be getting 15-20 snaps this game. As for RB, I'm not sold on Morris but Kevin Smith did light up the Rams defense last week so I would roll with Morris based on match-ups.

Mark Ingram @ Carolina, or Darrius Heyward-Bey @ Miami. Flex position, PPR league.

Peyton Manning. Grimes gone for the year, Denver will have to throw and it should be a high scoring game.

You need a homerun play since you have started awful. Morris is more likely for a homerun so start him. Dez Bryant and LaFell would be my homerun receivers, as I don't think Britt will see enough snaps and Maclin's been banged up.

I personally love DHB and think he's a great play this week.

I am dealing with the exact same situation in one of my leagues (minus Shaub). I've gone back and fourth about who to start, but am going to go with Manning. RG III could very easily have a monster week, but I'm not ready to move all in with RG III after one good game when Peyton Manning is my other option. So my official pick here is Manning, but really this is about as close to a coin flip as it comes. Shaub is a good back up QB in most leagues, but you can probably drop him to add depth in other areas since you have Manning and RG III.

Given your situation, you have to roll the dice and go with Morris. Again, it wouldn't be uncharacteristic for Shanahan to give all the carries to Helu or Royster this week since he's done it in the past with other teams. But with Morris leading the NFL in touches last week, combined with going up against the Rams defense, you need to start him over Richardson.

As for your receivers, Dez is a for sure start. The last spot is kind of tricky due to injury situations. If Maclin is a sure go for the game, then I'd go with him even though he'll be a little banged up. I posted earlier that I didn't like Britt this week. However, if Nate Washington is forced to miss the game, Britt may play a lot more than had been originally reported earlier in the week. As for LaFell, I'm not a big fan as he's been a big let down in his first two years. However, receivers tend to break out in their third year and Cam should be throwing the ball more than usual against the Saints. Not counting this as an official pick, but I'd go with Maclin if healthy. If Maclin isn't healthy, go with Britt if Nate Washington sits. If Washington plays and Maclin is out, go with LaFell.

Note to JMS: I still like Wayne over Britt, even if Washington sits out. Just don't have quite as much confidence in the pick as I did earlier in the week.

Don't really like either option here this week, but if I'm forced to choose I'd roll with Heyward-Bey. Though I typically like RBs over WRs in flex spots, Ingram is in a crowded backfield with Sproles and Thomas and probably won't get more than 10-12 touches in the game. Heyward-Bey is the sure #1 WR in Oakland and has big play potential. Being in a PPR league makes an even stronger case for Heyward-Bey since Ingram doesn't catch many passes out of the backfield.

                    Official Week 2 Results:

                    1. Eric Decker 125 over Michael Bush 108 Push
                    2. Trent Richardson 430 over Kevin Ogletree 67 and Michael Crabtree 164 - Correct
                    3. Reggie Wayne 232 over Kenny Britt 15 - Correct
                    4. Cam Newton 470 over Matthew Stafford 213 Correct
                    5. Alred Morris 178 over Kevin Smith 150 and Lance Moore 70 Push
                    6. James Jones 8 over Danny Amendola 410 - Incorrect
                    7. Peyton Manning 165 over Robert Griffin III 503 - Incorrect
                    8. Darius Heyward-Bey 102 over Mark Ingram 166 - Incorrect

Week 2 thoughts... I completely shit the bed with Amendola, which is pretty sad since the Rams are my team. I figured Danny was going to get a half dozen or so catches, but never imagined that he'd get 15. Also, looks like I'm going to have to start RG III in my league over Manning. The guy is the real deal. Newton and Richardson had solid weeks, hope you guys started them.

Eh, 8 points for DHB vs. 14 points for Ingram, but only because he scored a TD. I should've flexed in Ben Tate...motherfuckin 27 points.

                            In a 10 team league.

Peyton vs. Houston or Big Ben vs. Oakland

Pick one: DMC vs. Pittsburgh, Doug Martin vs. Dallas, McGahee vs. Houston

Pick one: Stevie Johnson vs. Cleveland, Amendola vs. Chicago, Britt vs. Detroit, Crabtree vs. Minny, Maclin vs. Arizona

And then one of those guys for flex.

I'm leaning towards Stevie at WR but other than that I'm not sure at all.

If it's PPR Sproles should be a no brainer. I've got him on my team and he has been excellent despite not having a single rush attempt.

Pick one for .5 PPR: Kendall Wright v. DET, Torrey Smith v. NE, Donnnie Avery v. JAC

I'm personally leaning towards Wright because of that wretched Detroit secondary.
