I'm not saying Peyton Manning hasn't made average players better, but he always had Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison and Dallas Clark. He also had a sane coaching staff that knew enough to give him freedom.

I asked a simple question, how is this a career year? He will surpass his prior years in yards and maybe receptios, but come nowhere close in TD catches. You make it sound like he's etching his name in the record books with this season. What are you talking about? He's not doing anything he didn't do better with Peyton, and hey, with Peyton he was competing with all those other great guys you keep talking about.
