First week of the playoffs my team puts up the second most points, but sadly it was against the team with the most points. Now I get to sit and watch my team put up the most points for the next two weeks while some bum team wins my money.

I'm still alive in two other leagues, but there is no money involved in them.

Buddy of mine lost his playoff game by 1 point because of Brandon Lloyd's fumble recovery touchdown. I lost my last game because the Texans D got ass raped and their kicker couldn't manage 2 field goals either.

Funny thing is went with QB in first rounds this year and I am in the finals in both leagues....each case different.

I lost to Brink in the VSN Keeper league because he had Danny Woodhead get 22 points while Steven Ridley got 0.3. Never thought that'd be the reason I'd lose.

I am going to the Super Bowl in my non-money league but lost out by 10 points in the semi's of my high stakes league over the weekend. It literally came down to Big Ben needing to throw a TD on their last drive. If he had done it, I would have won. Instead he throws a pick and my opponent had the Dallas kicker, who kicks a game winning FG. Ben's stat line wasn't that bad for the game but I got a goose egg out of Lawrence Tynes (highest points K in the league) and Rodgers threw all 3 TD's to Jones. Had a single one went to Cobb I would have won.

Not sure why that is so funny to you, some of the most competitive leagues out there do not have money associated with them. Having your buddies talk shit over a trophy for a year is pretty motivating.

Agreed. I won't spend more than what we did for the VSN league. I do have more fun trash talking the whole year with co-workers or in one of my leagues where we all draft at the commish's house.
